Great stay at Kabin Hotel! Our room was cozy and clean with comfy beds. The location was outstanding - near restaurant options and the Nishiki Market. Easy bus nearby to the Arashiyama Monkey Park and Bamboo Forrest. You can rent a boat to row across from the monkey park to the bamboo forests, which was a great extra surprise. Staff recommended a great restaurant / hibachi style all you can eat. At the end of our stay, we needed to store our luggage for the day, and they were amazing and had a huge space for this at the other location around the corner. Super easy. Wed absolutely stay here again!

The hotel was incredible, typical Japanese style, which is what attracted us to this property. The rooms were amazing and included a Japanese bamboo bathtub. The hotel always smelled delicious, the decoration inside was so Japanese-style. And the staff was very friendly, on the first day when we arrived all sweaty from the heat, they offered us some delicious cold tea. Definitely would return here in Kyoto.

The hotel was very clean and quite. Hotel staff were friendly and helpful. The best thing about the hotel is its location, its close to the Nikishi Market and many restaurants.

I really enjoyed my stay—this hotel is perfectly situated within walking distance to a variety of restaurants, cafés, and shops. Whether you’re looking for a quick bite or a leisurely stroll through the neighborhood, everything is just steps away. It made exploring the area so easy and enjoyable. Highly recommend for anyone who values accessibility and a vibrant local atmosphere!
