Front door unlocks with any thumbprint (our entire family could open) and one of the patio sliders does not lock. The unit smelt super musky and the main AC unit was very old and blew out dirty smelling air. We saw mouse poop and dead flies on the floor. In addition, we had to wipe our feet with a washcloth after walking barefoot because the floor was not mopped. Spare bedroom shades don’t roll up (looks like someone got the cords stuck) and the master bed is super creaky. We were hopeful this would be a clean and comfortable stay for the price but we’re very disappointed. I’d suggest looking for another unit in these towers. ##### Georgia F. Told a ticket created. Contacted host again Tuesday about it and told to wait. Contacted VRBO within 24hrs and they contacted Host and was told the same thing. Morning noon and night was told to wait. Wednesday, same thing. We asked to be moved to a place with hot water since they were a managing company with many condos but told no. We had to take cold showers for 3 days. Finally VRBO 3 wayed called Host with me and told them to fix immediately and reimburse us for 3 days due to no hot water. Host finally fixed but refused to reimburse or give any discount. Host told us there was a blockage in the line of the hot water tank and that since we stayed in the property we were not entitled to any compensation. This is a large managing company in Costa Rica and they had no care for the people who rented from them. Everyone kept passing the buck. ##### Mike H.
