The rooms were clean. A few large ants. We sprayed the room with bug spray which seemed to help. We had a beautiful view! Breakfast was supposed to be included, but there was no restaurant on the property. We were right on the beach and it was like having our own private island. The pool was refreshing after a day at the beach. Staff was friendly.

My husband and I got in our biggest fight in 20 years at the hotel. Think screaming and crying and then repeat. The vaulted ceilings echoed my insults just right and storming off onto a balcony overlooking the ocean was much more satisfying than locking myself in the bathroom at home. 10 out of 10 would argue here again.

The hotel is simple, it is clean and it is accesible. It is a pretty place and a nice beach for surfing. It is not one of Costa Rica's most beautiful beaches, but to see friends and spend some time close to the city, this place is very nice.
