NOW OPEN! —AUG 9-15, 2025 (4-night min). It’s not often dates open up so BOOK your trip today! Bridlepath Lake Resort is a 2,200 Sqft. completely renovated retreat home on the Lake. A secluded gem with 110 feet of private lakefront and sand beach situated on Chautauqua Lake in Bemus Point, NY. Private and peaceful, yet within walking distance to all of the excitement (shop, dine, golf, etc.) of Bemus Point Village. With its brand new updated coastal beach design, your Chautauqua Lake experience will be like no other. Large lawns in the front (lakeside) and back of the house. Fire pit near the Lake. Long, private pier with a 12 x 20' platform at the end to enjoy lake life, sunsets, etc. Up to two boats can be tied to posts next to the dock. Large common areas (kitchen, living room, sunroom, porch and patio) to enjoy. Patio is steps from the fully stocked kitchen and living room, faces the Lake and comes with a gas grill and comfortable outdoor furniture.

We transformed an original 1930’s cottage/1960’s outdated addition into a stunning all-season lake/beach encounter. Our property is not only secluded (end of a private road) providing a peaceful experience, we're also short walk or minute drive to charming Bemus Point Village--the best of both worlds!

Our open-floor plan home and grounds includes:

This is located right on Chautauqua Lake. There is a large yard and a dock. The house was exactly as described. Everything was clean, organized and by far the best stocked rental I have ever been to! Would love to come back again with my family!

Perfect location for a family gathering

Stayed at this property over Easter weekend to meet up with my son from college. There were 8 people. Plenty of room in this house for all of us to either be together or spread out. Beautiful view of the lake! House is nicely updated and very comfortable!

Great Vacation

This was our second year staying at the Lake house and everything was fantastic from check-in to checkout. We highly recommend staying here if you're looking for a family getaway! Everything is provided in the home and you are so close to all the amenities that Bemus Point has to offer.

This was a great place for a girls weekend! House is beautiful, very well kept and right on the lake. Walking distance to bemus point tap house. Debra was great with checking in on us and making sure we had everything we needed.

We had a great time at Bridle Path resort lake house! An upscale,Beautifully decorated resort, modern kitchen well stocked with all essentials, from spices to pots & pans. Spacious layout, plenty of spots in house to gather! Comfortable beds, nice linens and best of all private lake front access with new dock!!!

Wonderful house, wonderful hosts, wonderful location

The property is very smartly designed for a multitude of people enjoying a multitude of activities. The yard is perfect for kids to play with abandon and the kitchen is perfect for cooking for a crowd. We were so happy to be here in the early fall, and enjoyed every minute. Deb and Rick were excellent hosts.

AWESOME HOME, LOCATION & OWNERS

This was our first time staying at Bridlepath and everything was OUTSTANDING. The home and property were clean, up to date and there was plenty of room for my wife /self, daughter/family of 4, daughter/family of 3 and our son. The grandkids (age 1, 3 and 5) enjoyed the yard and sand beach. Walking to Bemus Point for mass, morning drinks, lunch, dinner or ice cream made it quick and convenient. Docking the pontoon boat was easy right off the dock. Rick and Debra were amazing hosts right from the start when we booked through when we lefT. We all look forward to coming back !

Reunion

We had a wonderful stay in this cottage by the lake. It worked out perfectly for our group of couples. There was a nice size kitchen, a good size table for meals, and two living rooms. Much attention was given to detail. Debra was easy to contact and very nice. There were several welcoming places to sit outside and we also enjoyed a few short walks into downtown Bemus Point. All in all it was a great cottage for our reunion.

Deb's home is beautiful. Lots of space for the family to spread out. We loved the backyard and the fire-pit. There were lots of board games and puzzles too. Kitchen was well stocked with everything we needed

Private Get Away

Exactly what we needed. The privacy of this property really gives you the ultimate vacation experience. Great layout, updated appliances, well stocked, well-kept grounds and dock. The owners were very responsive to our questions and pleasant to work with. We had 10 people ages 13 - 75 and it worked well for everyone.

Our family had more fun at this cottage.. The place itself was wonderful. Very clean, nice flow and very comfortable..we will definitely be back next year for a stay. The best part for us was the fishing right off the dock was just amazing. Dock was big and sturdy with a great variety of fish .We highly recommend this place.
