It felt like a time portal to 1960-something, which was fun in a way. I didn't feel comfortable sitting on the furniture as it was pretty gnarly. The bathroom smelled really funny, there must have been a lot of air in the water pipes. But it did seem like they cleaned it well. I appreciated that even the dishes matched the era of the house. That was kind of cute. For for someone who may have grown up in the 60s or 70s, it would be a really cool memory lane. :) the price was very reasonable and there was a little porch overlooking the canal that went to the lake. The property manager was very attentive and even brought us fire wood to last our entire stay. Everything was in working order. Water was hot, and electric, wifi, and gas grill all worked well. As others reviewed, if you're looking for a 5 star resort, this isn't it. I even tried a new cable and kept saying not charging. All the outlets should be 3 pronged. The bed I picks wasn't too bad. The floor is not the best, not level room to room, I had to be very careful. At night it did get cold, and I didn't know how to get it warmed up. I had asked if I could a day sooner and was told it was ok, but when I arrived people where still there. I did find a place for that night.
