Had a big TV with Netflicks and nice outlook over st Georges Basin, and is direct waterfront. What wasn't in the decription of the property was the view and garden directly out side your unit sliding window is shared with other guests staying at the front of the property. The garden to the water is only the width of the block so you cannot wander up and down the waterfront. There are neighbours to the garden on each side, so if someone has kids or dogs that all becomes part of your experience. If someone gets to the outdoor area before you, your only view is the view of other people sitting infront of your view. Possibly lighting a firepit while you sit in your unit watching them. I guess you could go and join them but that's hardly the point of a get away for two or worth the price we paid of close to $400 a night. Access to Jervis Bay was great and other cute coastal towns. Easy access by car or foot to local shops and restaurants, and a quick drive to Vincentia/Huskison for markets and walking tracks. The view from the door is incredible, and despite the rain, it was still a great swim in the bay out front. The bonfire was also a fantastic add on. John was really helpful with check in/check out and had great communication. It is spacious and clean, and has a well equiped kitchenette. The wifi and reception are good and it is an easy drive from Sydney. Other than that, your cooking equipment is very minimal. One pot, one pan, no lid. No colander, one chopping board, minimal cutlery, no egg cups. Luckily we managed to request the BBQ. Not clean. There is no under cover area, but the weather was kind. Absolute bonus is the outdoor table between the pines, so nice and shady. There is a firepit right beside the water. It was ready and waiting for us... but do remember to bring your matches to light up. We really enjoyed SUPping and kayaking, perfect spot. And an Osprey on look out in the Pines was a delight. Peaceful with nature, occasional wildlife saying hello and dream-like scenery. Be sure to enjoy the campfire, sunsets and stars! (Weather permitting) The accommodation had everything - bbq, benches, cooking equipment, toiletries. Can't fault the amenities. John, the host, was an absolute legend. Super friendly, accommodating to us, and went above and beyond as a host in all aspects! Will definitely be recommending this to friends and family. Perfect location on the waterfront for our boating and fishing Easter weekend. Serene spot looking straight out over green grass onto the Basin with its own boat ramp. Great accommodation with large rooms well equipped kitchen and very comfy bed only 12 mins or so to Huskisson with all its shops and restaurants. The terrific host John went out of his way to help us for which we are very grateful and is super friendly and welcoming. We can't speak highly enough of him.
