1. Terrible bathroom - ridiculous design and unsafe, plus the shower controls were awful. 2. No 110v power - the hotel provided a transformer which gave me an electric shock. 3. No elevator 4. The summing pool area was unusable as the floor was being replaced - ok I get that / but no notice given beforehand or discount offered 5. Dinner was very average at best This hotel is exclusive and expensive - it should have been better

Staff was great. Room was nice. Price was reasonable. The breakfast was top notch. We were here for work and I'd consider bringing my wife back for a vacation trip. Totally recommend.

We had a pleasant stay at the Regency Hotel. The location is excellent—just a short walk to the beach and surrounded by a variety of restaurants, making it super convenient for exploring Rio. Breakfast was a highlight, with a wide selection and good variety to suit different tastes. The bed and pillows were very comfortable, contributing to a restful stay. However, there was a minor issue with the washroom—a foul smell coming from the drainage, which we had to cover to manage. It didn’t ruin the experience, but it’s something the hotel could improve. Overall, a good stay with great amenities and a prime location. Would recommend, especially for beach lovers and foodies.
