The place is ok. WiFi not working in the room. The staff is nice

Room was reserved in advance via Expedia and I was asked at check in to pay for it. Shower has no caddy to place soap or shampoo everything had to be placed on the floor while showering, ordered instant Nescafé in the morning a small bowl was delivered with the sachets of Nescafe in it, no hot water, no cups. Pool staff are great with excellent service as well as the restaurant for breakfast. I expected more honestly for 500$ plus for a room, I could have booked 2 nights across the street at the intercontinental Phoenicia.

Arthaus is a beautiful hotel with incredibly kind and helpful staff. We truly felt welcome and taken care of. The property itself is stunning and representative of Lebanese history. Will definitely come back.

We are visiting from New York to Dubai, and jumped to lebanon for a few days and stayed at 1808 Laklouk for two nights. IT WAS AMAZING! 1- The friendliness and warmth is real and honest and impossible to miss. You get everything that 6 star hotels try to create: personal, special attention and genuine humanity. 2- The place is GORGEOUS. The house is a piece of art, the landscaping is impeccable, the mountains and the apple trees next door and nature and small villages are breathtaking. 3- The care and cleanliness is and maintenance is top notch. We even added a child late and didn't look at the rules, but they were so kind and accommodating and we were so touched. Right now, it's impossible for me to remember a better place to stay. PS: we came out of season (October) and it is starting to get a bit cold. Not freezing or anything, but it's definitely Autumn.

Great place to stay with very spacious rooms. The bathroom needs a bit of upgrading, as it’s hard to adjust the water due to the bathtub setup. It’s very conveniently located within walking distance to the shops. Batroun has a lot to offer 25 minutes to the snow and 30 minutes to Jounieh. The place is very clean, and I highly recommend it
