This hotel is in a great location for walking around town, and has its own parking garage. The breakfast was excellent, offering a wide variety of options and a spacious dining room! Our room was small, with no frills, but comfortable and everything was in good condition and a/c worked well. Nice bathroom with good amount of counter space, but no washcloths or toiletries provided (other than a single all-purpose gel), so need to bring your own if you want actual shampoo, lotion, or a washcloth. Our room was right over the main street, with some street noise during the day but almost everything shuts down around 7-8pm and was quiet all night.

I stayed as a solo in the Business single room - comfortable double bed, Nespresso machine, heated towel rail and complimentary mini bar. The staff are incredible and make you feel so welcome and comfortable in this beautifully restored heritage building. The location is unbeatable - walkable to everywhere in the old town - thank you for such a memorable stay

We had a wonderful day at hotel Stein. Salzburg is such a lovely city and the hotel is nicely situated to see all the wonderful sites. Hotel staff went above and beyond. Arman provided us with great service and great recommendations. We would totally stay here again.

The hotel over all is good . Staff is very good and attentive . The location is not so great ! Too far from the main part of Salzburg, but still walkable ! Breakfast is not included and is 37 euros… but there are a few options close by .
