We had a wonderful stay at Lemon Tree Hotel in Karpathos and would happily recommend it to anyone visiting the island. The apartment was spacious, clean, and very comfortable. The bed was huge and incredibly comfy, and the apartment had everything we needed for a relaxing stay. The staff were exceptionally friendly and always happy to help with anything we needed, which made us feel very welcome. The location was perfect—just a 2-minute walk to the promenade, with plenty of restaurants, bars, and shops nearby. Housekeeping came every day, which we really appreciated. There were only two small downsides. We noticed some cobwebs in the bedroom, and it seems from other reviews that this has been mentioned before. Also, the breakfast was exactly the same every day. However, considering the price we paid, neither of these issues was a big deal. Overall, we’d rate our stay 9/10. We had a fantastic time, would highly recommend Lemon Tree Hotel, and we would definitely stay here again!

In the heart of Pigadia, close to restaurants and shops. Good sized bedroom, nice mattress and pillows. The only down side was that the bathroom drain was clogged, so as you turn on the shower tap, the water immediately builds up, forming a “swimming pool” while you take a shower.

Comfortable stay, comfy bed, great location just moments away from Pigadia port and friendly staff. The breakfast is not great for the money (a coffee machine for espresso, cappuccino etc is recommended + toaster as a minimum). Tiny balcony, really not enough for 2 people to sit out. Cat lovers will be happy that there are several cats who like to lay on the balcony but if you dislike cats, don't stay here!!

A great experience. Warm friendly welcome, lovely staff, comfortable room. Seems like a new hotel, decor is lovely. Comfortable bed, nice linens. Quiet location but minutes from the restaurants and bars. Nice balcony and rooms are quiet. Short walk to ferry. They even arranged a packed breakfast for us when we had to leave early morning for the ferry. Top service!! Would recommend.

La struttura è in una piccola via letteralmente a un passo dal centro città ma molto tranquilla. Data la presenza di diverse porte da aprire e richiudere a chiave, sarebbe auspicabile che ci fossero degli apriporta automatici dall'interno, e anche che le chiavi fossero distinguibili. La colazione era soddisfacente, ma un po' monotona. Il personale, descritto da altri come eccezionalmente cordiale e caloroso, probabilmente non era lo stesso, perché io non ho trovato nessuna cordialità e nessun calore, solo una dovuta cortesia. Nessuno ci ha mai chiesto se andasse tutto bene o se volessimo qualche informazione o consiglio. Non ci tornerò perché non ho intenzione di tornare a Karpathos, che non mi è piaciuta per niente, ma non sconsiglio questo albergo, tutto sommato ci siamo trovati bene.

Where must stay in Karpathos if you are smart

This is the best to stay in Karpathos. The rooms are modern and well designed but more importantly, the owners are wonderful and will help you with anything. It is a perfect place!
