"La Terra Resort is a unique and beautiful crafted, peaceful boutique hotel that we had a delight to stay at during our outdoors exploration, and trek along parts of the Nakesando Trail. La Terra Resort didn’t disappoint, nestled amongst a beautiful quiet valley setting, tucked under the edge of the forest canopy and surrounded by farmed land, land that served to us our daily meals, with fresh homegrown produce. La Terra Resort’s owner Silva and his fantastic staff, each went out of their way to make us feel comfortable. Silva even personally introduced us to local pottery makers and took us to various attractions around the picturesque areas of Shirojiri. We especially enjoyed our short trek (2+ hours) down from the local waterfalls, following the river trail through amazing peaceful nature walks back to the resort. We would love to thank everyone in the team for making us feel so at home, feeding us amazing meals at both breakfast and dinner, from; La Terra’s visionary host and founder; Silva Sharonda (owner), to the fantastic welcoming party and exceptional service hosts of the staff Mogu, Duminda & Dian and chefs. Thank you all for our memorable few days at La Terra Resort. We wish we had stayed longer. Good luck to you all at La Terra with everything you are going to be pursuing in your bright futures."

"Pros: • The villa is very clean and spacious. The view from the windows is beautiful — you can even see the snowy mountains. • The staff is kind and helpful. Cons: • A smartphone is provided for communication with the staff, but we didn’t receive a response when we sent a question at night. • The latest check-in time is 10:00 PM, which is not very traveler-friendly. That said, the staff did agree to wait for us when we called to ask about checking in at 10:30 PM."

"If you're looking for an onsen experience this is the place! We were welcomed as we drove up the windy mountain road to the hotel. The check in experience was calm and efficient. Dinner, breakfast and private bath times chosen. The baths are wonderfull, overlooking the river and with views down the forested valley. Dinner and breakfast were amazing, although our kids sadly didn't feel adventurous enough. It was a truly magical experience on our first trip to Japan."

"It was within comfortable walking distance from INAKITA station. It was the only available closest hotel when i booked for a last minute trip here a few days before. I found a familiar restaurant, SUKIYA nearby where I had my delicious lunch. Happen to stumble upon a cosy McDonald’s when I was exploring the area near Ina park where the cherry blossoms were in full bloom! There is a direct bus to the Takato Castle Ruins at Inakita Station. See the bus timing chart. Hotel was like a resort with a very nice public bath. The room is spacious, comfy with the usual Japanese standard toilet & bath."

"I recently stayed at Komagane Kogen Resort Linx, and it was an absolutely fantastic experience! From the moment I arrived, the staff was welcoming and attentive, making check-in quick and seamless. The room was spacious, clean, and beautifully decorated, with a comfortable bed and all the amenities I needed. The view from the window was stunning, adding to the relaxing atmosphere. The highlight of my stay was definitely the hot spring. The onsen was well-maintained, with crystal-clear, soothing water at the perfect temperature. The serene setting made it the ideal place to unwind after a long day. There were both indoor and outdoor options, allowing me to enjoy the peaceful surroundings while soaking in the warm, mineral-rich water. Breakfast at the hotel was delicious, offering a variety of fresh and well-prepared dishes. The overall service was top-notch, and every staff member I encountered was polite and eager to help. "I've used this hotel many times for more than one week at a time, but they never greet me such as "Welcome back!" or "Thank you for using the hotel always." They are always too business like. I hope they are a bit more friendly. The hotel is very comfortable to stay though!"

Older property but well maintained and room has all the amenities you’ll need (tea, kettle, mini-fridge, slippers, toothbrush + paste, comb, q-tips, etc.). Check in lady was great & explained everything. Hotel also provides printouts explaining things in english."
