“My stay at the BM Gardens Hotel was an absolute phenomenal experience. The staff was exceptional, everyone displayed superb hospitality. Pleasant smiles, cordial greetings and a readiness to assist was the order of the day. It was my first visit to South Africa and I was made to feel as if I have known them for a lifetime. “At first impressions I actually considered this property to be good but having stayed there for an extended period of time, I observed a lot of things that need attention both within the property as well as the staff. Below I’m going to highlight all the concerns based on week or so stay in April of 2026: i) The staff needs to be coached on basic etiquette or at the least general customer service. Many a time would we greet the front desk staffers and for the most part they’d literally not……

“Clean room”

“Bring your own wash cloths. There are mice outside running on the property so get used to that. Staff was friendly. The cleaning crew will open the door after a soft knock so be prepared. They change sheets mon, wed, friday. I would not stay here again but it may be a place for others to stay. The mall is within walking distance. That's a plus. Decent neighborhood. ”
