We had a great 4-night stay at The Marmara. The pool was lovely, the staff couldn't have been nicer, and the beach club the hotel has a relationship with was absolutely stunning. The staff even made us lunch boxes for a very early flight we had. Would absolutely come again; forgot to mention the breakfast and restaurant were very tasty. My very first time at the hotel. It's truly amazing. The sea and the mountains are breathtaking. The staff is very accommodating, from the reception to everyone else. My room had a balcony where I could just relax and enjoy the view also. This truly is a hotel that I would come back to, when I'm in Bodrum. I'd like to thank everyone at Azka Hotel for their hospitality. A very happy and satisfied Canadian guest!🇨🇦

This is a beautiful property perched on the ridge overlooking the sea. The staff were friendly. Unfortunately, during our stay, the main pool was closed and being resurfaced. The property therefore was not as advertised. I would think this warrants some kind of a discount. Moreover, the beach is beyond walking distance, and the shuttle only travels once per hour. Lastly, the restaurant had very mediocre food and was far inferior to any other meal we had during our stay in Bodrum. I hate leaving bad reviews because I know the hotel and their staff are trying. However, I chose this hotel because of its good reviews and think other others deserve to know this property’s shortcomings.

The Salmakis Resort & Spa was an enticing place but little things meant that it didn't deserve its 5 star rating. The WiFi did not work in the hotel room, only in the restaurant and reception areas, which was very frustrating and inconvenient. When we arrived there was one area through which everyone had to walk to access other areas of the hotel, which had a large pallet loaded with what seemed to be large boxes of machinery. Over our stay this pallet was gradually unloaded but the boxes were just moved to corridors outside the hotel rooms on various levels. There was evidence of damage to some of the mosaics set into walkways and repairs were needed to the steps from our room down to the pool area. In my hotel room, there was no plug for the bathroom basin, meaning to shave it was necessary to keep running the water - a waste of resources. There was no toilet roll holder beside the toilet, just a couple of toilet rolls sitting on a shelf beneath the hand basin. The beach towels were obviously quite old as many of them were frayed at the edges. In all, whilst we enjoyed our stay there it definitely was not worth a 5 star rating.

I've stayed in a few hotels around Bodrum and this is my first time at this hotel and I rarely go back to the same hotel twice BUT I have to say that I will indeed be returning to this hotel again as I loved every part of my stay 👌 ( Apart from the mosquitoes 😢 as they enjoyed feeding on my blood 😭 ) The selection of the food is a 10/10 as they cater for everyone, I can be a fussy git and always find something to pick on but not at this hotel as the variety is spot on, I very much love fish but not with bones in and the chef said give me five minutes and I'll cook you some without bones to which was a lovely piece of fish indeed 😋 The Levante Turkish restaurant is a 100% must to book as the food was so nice I could have eaten it every day 😍 total of 15 dishes 😳 I couldn't eat breakfast the following morning as I was still full 😁 All the staff are very friendly and always smiling 🙂 MEDINI and YELIZ and all the other staff thank you very much 🙏 YELIZ will remember me as Big Man as that's what she called me 😁 I will definitely come to visit you all again I promise 👌👌 If there was one thing I could change then I'd love for the hotel to make the drinks selection Ultra Inclusive and get rid of the local branded spirits but that's just me being picky as I very much love my Long Island Iced Tea 👌 but this is only available as premium purchase 😔 and Tequila also premium 😔 As Arnold Schwarzenegger says " I'll be back " 👍👌😊
