We stayed in a 3 bedroom villa. First thing u need to know is the 3rd bedroom downstairs has a single bed. This threw things out for us as our youngest didn't want to sleep downstairs on her own, so our giant teenager had to have a single bed while the younger child had a double bed all to themselves. Knowing the layout would have changed my decision. The downstairs of the villa was freezing, the air con wasn't working properly. How a property doesn't have proper heating in the NZ winter is beyond me. We asked for it to be fixed, they brought over some small heaters. That warmed it up, housekeeping them took them away the following day. Housekeeping was so hit and miss. Some days they replaced a couple of towels, others all, other just took out the rubbish etc. Kitchen not properly stocked made it hard to cook. Villa 53 car park is not in front of the unit. Such a bizarre set up.

Spire Hotel was an absolute delight! The location is fantastic, catering to both city dwellers and outdoor enthusiasts. The room was superb, offering a beautiful view, comfort, and cleanliness. The breakfast was simply amazing, and the staff treated us with exceptional personal attention and genuine friendliness.

The view was spectacular.

Location was excellent. Handy to everything ie bus stop, supermarket, activities, cbd all nearby, just cross the road. No steep climbs! All flat. Staff very welcoming. Room had its own car park and all amenities needed in kitchen etc. Enjoyed the bath robes, good showers, heating, coffee plunger and comfortable bed. Well soundproofed too.

If you ever get to Queenstown, NZ and are looking for an exceptional place to stay, I highly recommend the Platinum Queenstown Villas, located about a 5 minute drive from the town center. Imagine every amenity you want in a villa and it's here. The huge living room with large screen TV and gas fireplace, along with the fully equipped kitchen and dining room on the ground floor have stunning views of the lake & mountains beyond. The three upstairs bedrooms all have lush quilts, soft pillows, wall mounted bedside reading lamps, plenty of closet and dresser space and lovely robes. The king bedroom has a large, gorgeous, en suite bathroom with a separate tub and large shower, while the queen and twin bedrooms share the other large bathroom just a few steps away. Although we declined daily maid service, the manager comped us with two visits from their fabulous cleaning staff who did an excellent job! Honestly, we couldn't have asked for a more polite and friendly group of people. Wish I could post some photos of the property as well, but I guess that's not an option. I absolutely recommend this luxurious property and look forward to a return visit some time in the future.
