We loved our stay! It was a family gathering spot for Thanksgiving...ages 2 to 73! Overall the home was welcoming and all of us enjoyed the hot tub. We could not take full advantage of all the goodies like bikes and fir pit due to weather but they both looked inviting. The few small issues we encountered were addressed quickly by Keri and did not really affect our trip negatively. Would definately stay again when needed!
The perfect location for all things Kerrville. We enjoyed walking to the River trail, visiting town, and going to HEB blocks away. The home is well equipped and very comfortable. We had a great visit and will be back! Thanks!
This home was perfect for our Kerrville Christmas. The location was great as we were so close to the walking trail, downtown, and coffee shops! Plenty of room for everyone to relax over the busy weekend.
The Rambler is the perfect location to enjoy Kerrville and surrounding area. Adjacent to the walking trail and to all downtown restaurants. The home has comfortable furnishings and plenty of room to host a family dinner. This is our second time to stay here and will definitely be returning.
We stayed at this property for 3 nights, and it was perfect for us. It was a plus to be able to bring our dog. Also, the beds were very comfortable and the furnishings were on point. We enjoyed the hot tub one evening as well. I would recommend this house to anyone needing 3 bedrooms. We would stay here again.
We were very pleased with the house. We enjoyed the extra benefit of the bikes and our kids rode multiple times to Hays park. The house was clean and had everything we needed for a home away from home.
The house is beautiful, clean and well appointed. Close to grocery store and restaurants. Host was very communicative and check in was easy. Keri immediately informed me that I left behind some valuable items and worked with me to retrieve them. Highly recommend.
The Rambler has such charm! My family stayed there and so enjoyed the darts, the dominos, the honor bar and even the magnets for the fridge. It’s a wonderful spot for families because of the space, the layout and the variety of things to do. We’ll be back another time when we can enjoy the hot tub and bikes too! Our one night stay was just too short!
The Rambler turned out to be perfect for our visit over Easter weekend. Two couples were in town for the Easter Bicycle Tour and the location was perfect. Close to the path along the river, walking distance to shopping and restaurants, and only a short drive to the H-E-B grocery store. The house was very comfortable, well-appointed and with some surprising touches like the canisters of K-cups, the honor bar, labeled light switches, nice towels for inside and the hot tub. Keri was easy to reach by text. No major complaints from our group. Would stay there again without a doubt.
A spotless and comfortable home with some great touches! The owner had large canisters full of decaf and regular for the Keurig...plus creamers in the fridge. Bathrobes were provided. We so appreciated these thoughtful gestures! I loved being minutes away from the river walk, where we saw deer every morning. We would definitely stay here again!
I can't recommend this home enough. We are a family of five (2 adults + 3 kids - 13, 10, & 5) plus our 2 small dogs. This was the perfect spot for us as we all had plenty of room to spread out and the twin beds in the third room mean that my girls didn't fight about sharing a bed! The hot tub was an excellent bonus. Everything was clean and in order when we arrived; beds are very comfortable. Don't hesitate on this one!
We loved the house. So adorable. Loved that the river trail was so close. It was the perfect set-up for two couples , and then an extra room for quiet time, reading, napping, stretching, etc. (yoga mats available in the bedrooms) The beds were super comfortable. The owner was very responsive and accommodating. Lots of notes left to explain things and educate us about the house and surrounding area, including restaurants. All lights were labeled which was wonderful. All in all a great stay and we’d rent there again in a heartbeat!
House was wonderful, cute, clean and very comfy. Kitchen was well furnished and the master bed was super comfortable. We really enjoyed the easy access to the walking trail that runs alongside the river. Only complaint is that we weren’t able to enjoy the hot tub because the interior of the cover was saturated with water making it too heavy to completely remove. The water looked and smelled very clean but there was gravel/dirt in the seats and on the floor of the tub. The lawn chairs were strewn all around, tipped over and upside down. A little outdoor housekeeping prior to our arrival would have been a nice touch. Overall, we had a good stay and would rent the house again.
This is our second property from this host that we've stayed in, and it was great! Very comfortable for our family, well stocked with supplies, convenient location close to HEB and river. Looking forward to staying here again!
