“This place caters to tour groups and to self sufficient campers but not to the in- between category ie people that travel by car and without camping equipment. You can purchase fancy cocktails there but there is no one to help you change a tyre. There is no hosepipe so you can clean your car when it has a centrmeter’s worth of red dust on it. Staff do not have the answers to anything beyond the confines of the property. Frankly these watering holes on the Gibb are vital but let’s provide some……

“Incredible location and facilities”

“We spent 4 days at this location, and the rooms were not serviced once. Considering the cost for two rooms we felt this was pretty poor. The staff member at reception on arrival was quite rude and made the check in process a less than pleasant experience. The rooms have a hot plate but nothing to actually cook with. Rubbish bin only had one bag and whilst replacements were available at reception you had to continually be asking for items such as clean towels, bathroom amenities etc. This……

“Naming of location was misleadng. (Bell Gorge is nowhere near property which is located in a unattractive area). Staff were a bit over the season and not as willing to help as other Kimberley places we visited. Maybe could benefit from extra training or maybe difficult to attract good staff to a bad location? ”
