The facilities were great and convenient. One huge concern for me was that the assistant general manager insisted on having the first names of our minor children who all happen to be under the age of 12. We were not made aware of this requirement at time of booking or prior to check in. Anyone with experience or training in child safety and abuse prevention will see this as a concern. Having a child's name gives predators a chance to confuse children into false sense of security.

The door lock was broken. Some of the lamp on and off switches would not turn. I had to unplug the lamps to shut them off. Room was very clean and air conditioning and hot water were great. Rooms were incredibly dirty to the point where you didn’t really want to touch anything. Slippers stuck to the floor in the bathroom. Bed was the worst I’ve experienced outside the Third World. And just fyi, I’m not very prissy.

This was a great place to stay when in DeSmet. We were there as a family for high school graduation. It was perfect for a family of 4. It was within walking distance to everything, and was very well stocked with everything we needed. We could not have asked for a better home.
