Be sure to bring your camera to capture the flowing cascades of Kizetsukyo Waterfall. If it's raging, you may be able to feel the mist on your face.
Kizetsukyo Waterfall is an ideal place to begin discovering Tanabe. This cascade of water comes recommended by fellow travelers, but it isn't the only spot to see here. Allow some time for other sights like Takijiri-oji Shrine, Kashima Shrine, and Suga Shrine to get a complete picture of what the area has to offer.
