Best Resorts in Ko Si Chang Island

"ver the years, I’ve been lucky to have stayed hundreds of nights at some amazing hotels in North America, Asia, Caribbean etc. While Hotel Amber does not categorize itself as a 5-Star hotel, it TRULY IS! This absolutely is a top tier resort. Breakfast is fabulous as is the swimming pool area. The rooms are large and quite possibly the most comfortable bed I’ve ever slept on. What makes it even more luxurious is the integrity and care of every single member working within the property. Everyone including the front desk personnel, dining room, pool area and house keeping staff are not only exceptional at their jobs, but EVERYONE is so kind and patient. In addition, the room rate is so low in comparison to others in the city, Hotel Amber is an absolute ‘hidden’ gem! Note: it’s incredibly quiet and safe especially when considering that within a short 45 second walk out of the front of the hotel you’re in the midst of Soi Buakhao. I will miss Hotel Amber and all of the wonderful people there"

"Could do with more than two lifts for such a large hotel. You can spend a lot of time waiting and if a tour group arrives it's hopeless."

"We had a great stay for a couple of nights. The staff were very friendly and helpful. We loved the big pool. The food was also really good. We ate at the pizzeria and had pad kra pao with extra rice and chicken wings - enough for two. Next time shared tom yum noodles, chicken wings and extra rice (of course).Standard was very good and reasonably priced. Room hadn’t been renovated yet but was fine. Luckily didn’t hear any renovation work. Would stay again."
