Peaceful oasis

We have been coming to Palm Point over the years, about 3 times in the last 20. It is so peaceful here, beautiful surroundings, right on the beach with the best Pad Thai we've ever tasted in Thailand. Come here, sit back, relax and enjoy the beauty of the garden surroundings and the bird song.

The place overall is ok but very basic, no kettle, cups or tv. Nice patio to relax, very close to the beach and local shops and night market. Bathroom needs to be renovated.

I loved the location. The beach was beautiful and you could hesr the waves all night. You could also hear any neighbours as the windows didnt really shut. But they needed to stay open to circulate air and the cabins were very moist and pretty sure had mold. :( very musky. I was afraid of the air quality in the cabin. It was very outdated. I had to ask for a top sheet as they only provided what seemed To be a large towel that was to be a duvet. I really enjoyed the porch in sitting outside and listening to the waves. I'm not sure if there was a kitchen. As they didn't say and no lights were on. The walkways were dark and hard to see. The garden was really well maintained and beautiful. This is a place to be outside, not for the inside.

Die Unterkunft hat uns sehr gut gefallen, man erreicht den Strand in wenigen Metern und es ist ein ruhiges Resort. Die Mitarbeiter sind immer äußerst freundlich und wir haben uns durchweg wohlgefühlt. Auch das Restaurant hat uns gut gefallen. Lediglich das Badezimmer des Bungalows benötigt eine Renovierung.

Seit 25 jahren besuchen wir die einfachen familiengeführten Bungalows, die sich in bester Lage direkt am Strand befinden, der Blick ist ein Traum. Am Strand stehen Kokospalmen. Das Wasser ist herrlich zum Schwimmen. Die Anlage ist gepflegt und liegt in einem schönen Garten. Besonders schön ist das Restaurant direkt am Strand. Die Anlage ist gut geeignet für Paare, Familien und Ruhesuchende. Die Besitzerin Naa ist sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Des Essen im Restaurant lecker.

Einfach aber ausreichend

Das war mein zweites Mal im palm point village, das erste mal hatte ich ein Familienbungalow und nun hatte ich das Bungalow mit Sea view gemietet. Die Unterkunft ist sehr einfach, was uns natürlich gereicht hat weil der Service und der Standort direkt am Strand so gut sind. Ich kann nur jedem ans Herz legen, einen Bungalow mit air Condition zu mieten weil die hitze mit einem Ventilator fast nicht zu bekämpfen ist. Ich komme dennoch gerne wieder.

The palm Point Village is located directly at a very nice beach. This beach is quite and almost not touristy. The cabins are very simple, but the value for money is 100% ok!

TRES BON DEAL

Nous allons à cet hotel tous les ans depuis 6 ans;Est tres bien situé avec belle plage propre nettoyée tous les matins dés 5 h du matin. Des palmiers en 1er plan avec tres belle vue sur les iles de Koh Phangan et Koh Tao. Un tres gros défaut est le WIFI déplorable pas de relais répétiteurs pour les 25 bungalows. Beaucoup de bungalows alentours meme moins chers sans clim ont au moins un mini frigo pour compenser.La jeune patronne est accueillante et ses jeunes employées tres dévouées.Le restaurant posséde une magnifique vue de carte postale et sert de bons plats et des crepes à la banane''à tomber''.Alentours petits resto pas chers de 80 baths à 120 baths à deux soit 2 euros à 3 euros.Une tres belle excursion d'une journée à faire petit dejeuner déjeuner boissons incluses dans mini baie d'Halong du site classé UNESCO de ANG THONG choisir journée sans vagues pour kayak inclus et snorkelling cout 2000 baths soit 52 euros/pers

Der Preis und die Strandlage sind unschlagbar. Dafür kann man vom Zustand des Zimmers nicht so viel erwarten. Und von Sauberkeit haben Thais wohl allgemein eine andere Vorstellung. Wenn man durch Teller klappern bis spät in die Nacht wach gehalten werden möchte, um dann um 6:30 vom Hof fegen mit dem Reisigbesen wieder geweckt zu werden, ist hier gut aufgehoben. Die Familie ist sehr nett. Nur das Zimmerpersonal schaut nach unten und grüßt nicht mal. Toilettenpapier gibt es am Anreisetag, danach nur noch auf Nachfrage.
