Great experience overall! The stay was an amazing experience. It was nice weekend away from the city and amongst the zamindari lifestyle. The traditional thalis (food) was amazing with considerable helping. The rooms and ambience was spectacular. Above all was the service and staff attentiveness.

Excellent property, staff are really nice and friendly. The front entrance is underwhelming though. Near the baganbari it stinks of stagnant water. That needs to be cleaned.

From the moment we arrived (although the journey there was hard work), this resort completely exceeded our expectations. It’s rare to find a place that feels both timeless and luxurious — like stepping back in history, yet surrounded by every modern comfort you could wish for. The grounds are beautifully preserved, with so much character and charm in every corner. The staff were absolutely wonderful — warm, friendly, and genuinely eager to make our stay special. They went out of their way to be kind and accommodating, especially with our toddler, which made the experience even more relaxing and memorable. A special shout out to Manish, who looked after our every need and request. The highlight of the activities available was the sunset boat ride — peaceful, breathtaking, and perfectly organized. The food was outstanding — no matter the cuisine and the local Kolkata food prepared was especially excellent. The spa also deserves a special mention — the masseuse was exceptional, one of the best we’ve ever experienced, leaving us completely refreshed and renewed. We left feeling like we could have lived there forever. This resort is a rare gem — elegant, welcoming, and unforgettable. We will definitely return - if only the journey there could be made more comfortable /less bumpy!!

Too noisy…Soundproofing very poor…Some renovation just outside room…we had informed the duty manager that is was our wedding anniversary but they did nothing at all…No flowers, forget cake…But service is excellent, especially Manish who we found so very dedicated to customer comfort, food was excellent…

The building itself is restored well . However the property stay is not worth the money. Food specially breakfast is poor. Restaurant and housekeeping service is very slow and sometimes inadequate. Front desk is slow and unfriendly. Expe ted 4 star service but it was more like 2.5. Disappointed customer.

Absolutely stunning! We love the Rajbari!!! The staff the decor the food. Not sure where to start and where to stop with praises for this place. Totally in love. If I could live here I would. Please go and experience a homely luxury if you can!

Over priced

Approach road to property is though a narrow sigle lane passing through market and is not suitable for big car. The staff members are helpful particularly Ms Mrinalnli and Ms Maitri. There is no choice of food in lunch except zamindari thali (bengali food). However breakfast and dinner are good. The property needs upgradation.

A beautiful, property that’s been meticulously restored and fastidiously maintained. The wonderfully hospitable staff and excellent kitchen ensured our weekend stay was an absolute joy. Well worth the short drive out of the city. Highly recommended.
