We were warmly welcomed by Claudette at the Brighton Lodge after our scheduled accommodation was unfortunately hit with storm problems. Claudette helped us with our future accommodations and was very helpful with directions. We feel Claudette went over and above to make our stay a fabulous experience.

Everything about this place has been carefully chosen to make your stay as happy and comfortable as possible. From Mbasa’s warm welcome to our spacious room, delicious breakfasts and beautifully styled and maintained property and gardens, we loved it here. Our kind hosts Jo and Alan were super helpful and made us feel right at home: thank you so much for a truly lovely introduction to South Africa!

The facilities were clean but it’s outdated. The furniture in my room were worn and need replacing. The walls had marks on them in some areas too. It’s not a bad option but I feel it’s overpriced for the condition of the furniture
