10 day stay was wonderful. 2nd trip to Bonaire, in 2015 we stayed at a resort. This time we decided less expensive so we could stay longer! Bungalow has everything you need. Shower is perfect for rinsing fins, masks, snorkles. Other dive gear can be rinsed outside in large trashcan/bin & shower. Clothes lines outside to dry beach towels, suits, etc. The outside porch along the entire side of the house is the highlight of the bungalow! At least 5 of 9 nights we cooked outside on the provided grill. Charcoal/lighter fluid ( "carbone" I learned that word! ) can be purchased at Lisa's Convenience store on the main road; you will pass it on your drive around the island. A small safe in one room and locks for each door that can be taken with you when you leave, gave us some peace of mind. Please NOTE car smash & grabs are VERY common (ask any local dive shop). Take minimal belongings with you as you leave, DO NOT lock you car, leave the windows down when going snorkeling/diving. ESPECIALLY 1000 steps. We would always take one camera and leave one back at the bungalow to be sure if one got stolen we would still have some vacation memories. We put the rental truck key ( be sure to get a truck if you plan to dive Washington Slagbaai as you can't use a car there) and one credit card WITHOUT chip in my BCD pocket while diving. Local police will make copy of license to leave it in the glove box, don't take your license/passport.
Bungalow has small refrigerator & preparing area, dishes, pots/pans, utensils. I recommend a few more knifes for cutting meat, vegetables & fresh fruit. Cleaning products provided. Bath towels changed part way through our stay. Please note they do not provide paper towels, napkins or toilet paper. I did not expect that; expensive on the island, easy enough to pack next time, now that I know. There is a small cooler perfect for packing lunches for the day, blue freeze packs are in the freezer. Bring a few baggies or containers as none are provided and hard to find at the local market. Small market on road to turn off to the bungalow, very convenient. Hosts nice :) met us at our VERY late airport arrival. Saw them one other time to fix gas stove line. Contact owner/host by email, spotty internet service; Kindle & Android work, iPhone won't. TV for our 10 day stay never worked. Friendly Iguanas to feed in morning, they love fresh fruit scraps. Jack the Cat is sweet, bring him treats . We plan to return in 2017
