It was a great location, and had beautiful views from the balcony! We enjoyed sitting out there in the morning and evenings. Being up on the 3rd floor and going up and down the stairs was definitely worth the views. Place was very clean which made me feel better with having a baby crawling around on the floors. Overall bed/pillows were somewhat uncomfortable. Decent view of the ocean. Unfortunately the place is really close to the water which I normally don’t mind at all, but that left little beach space and the beach itself in the area has a lot of rocks. Nice space for the two of us and fun location near the aquarium. The condo was clean overall but the kitchen supplies were not. All dishes and utensils were dirty. Only one pot was usable. The end where this unit is has only 30 feet of beach at high tide with no way to walk down the beach towards the pier except at low tides. Everyone is crammed into a little strip of sand. Pros: The location is great! The condo was spotless and has a beautiful view! Cons: The furniture and kitchen amenities are tired and could use a refresh. The condo was the perfect size for a couple and it was so close to the ocean! It was clean and had everything we needed. We loved having the option of a pool on the one day that the beach was too windy for comfort. The host was super communicative and everything was as smooth as possible. Good price for the location. Property manager (Carolina Beach Rental) kept me informed throughout the stay. Condo was on the beach - right next to Fort Fisher park, enjoyed my morning walks on the beach and in the park.
