The lodge is a wonderful, quiet place to stay while visiting Volcanoes National Park. The rooms are spacious, well appointed and absolutely spotless. The beds are comfortable and the location is very quiet and peaceful. Hot tub available but we didn't use. Welcome was warm. Lounge outside the room provided space to meet other guests and chat in front of warming fire. Highly recoomend if you are visiting VNP.

We had a short and sweet stay at Kelly’s home. The space itself is warm and inviting. The room and bathroom were clean, And the free homemade breakfast is an incredible bonus. Her papaya muffins are simply divine, light, flavorful, and made with love — the perfect way to start each morning in paradise. If you’re visiting Hawaii, don’t think twice. Kelly’s hospitality and attention to detail will make your trip unforgettable!

Convenient to national park. Clean and Quiet location. More of a bed and breakfast style set up. Drive slow entering the property, can get bumpy. Ignore the purple key pad at entrance door, use e-keypad on door. Breakfast is granola bars and packaged pastries as stated. There is a breakfast and lunch deli just around the corner called lighthouse.
