Everything about the hotel was good. The staff were friendly and helpful and the breakfast was good. The restaurant had a good menu we really enjoyed ourselves. The bedroom was a little outdated but very clean and caused us no issues at all with comfy beds. However we were told by Expedia we could pay on arrival at the hotel. I sent my share of the cost to my sister but was charged through my bank account in uk currency. My sister arrived at the hotel after we were charged and we were promised a refund after she paid in Euros. As promised I was refunded but in Euros which meant I lost £33 in the exchange. Expedia sent messages and I also spoke to a human who said we could pay at the hotel. Nobody has been able to help me before and after this problem. Very disappointing.

Location is excellent with easy access to bus and restaurants. Room is large and bright and comfortable. Breakfast was lacklustre. Menu is unchenged for our 4 days stay, ost disappointing is the dry quiche with undercooked potato masquerading as Spanish potato omlette, a popular breakfast item throughout Spain, Assortment of menu items is not generrous. For some reason, the faucets in the tub and wash basin are both loose.

Penthouse room was a great size and the small kitchen area was useful. Staff very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was adequate - small selection but the food was fresh. Right in the center of Valencia, in the old town - bars and restaurants within a couple of minutes walk. Use of the rooftop bar at the sister hotel is a bonus

Just need USB sockets and USB instructions for the oven, as didn’t realise until 2 days in that the microwave is in built.
