We stayed here for two nights and I wish we had stayed longer. The villa is super cute and cozy and has everything you need, they even provide you with pool towels. I would absolutely stay here again.

Great place

Great place with convenient location close to all sodas, grocery stores. Washer a dryer was a must for us so it was perfect. Swimming pool was great addition . Highly recommended!

Good value

This rustic cabin does the job for a family of four. The location is close to town. The price point is good. It’s not glamorous but gets the job done. We don’t spend a lot of time there during the day.

Great Place

We loved this property! Very clean and comfortable. Saw a sloth and a toucan about a block away. The sounds of the wildlife at night were an added bonus! Had no problems but when we had questions they were answered promptly and completely.

Beautiful modern villa close to town and attractions.

My husband and I had a wonderful 3 night stay in this modern and private villa. It was located close to the town of La Fortuna and close to so many attractions. We had our morning coffee outside where i saw toucans flying from tree to tree. On a walk in the neighborhood, we saw a sloth in a tree scratchibg himself! Perfect Gem!

We had a fantastic stay here. Super clean, safe, easy to get in/out and close to town and all there is to do in the area. We don’t use the pool (too busy) but it was clean, and close. The view of the volcano was superb and it was a very quiet place to stay.

This little house was beautiful, clean and very comfortable. From our check in experience to check out, communication with Angie was great. The house is in a close gated community, very safe.

Nice stay in great location. Very affordable. Quiet and secluded. Easy drive into town. Clean with all amenities. Washer and dryer was an added bonus! The only thing that didn’t bother us much, but should be noted is the lack of hot water. It is more “warm”. Still a great stay and would definitely return and recommend to others.

Great location close to La Fortuna

Property manager was extremely communicative. Arrived with no problem and found the place easily. Clean and comfortable. Pool was a disappointment as is small, and because of the extreme rainy weather while there, was cloudy and not kept up.... But I don't think anything could have been done about that because of the weather. I think in a normal weather pattern, it would have been fine. The only other wish would have been a table outside. We had chairs to sit in, but no outside table for dining....

We enjoyed our stay. Great directions. Close to La Fortuna 5min by car. Had all the amenities. Pool is about a 2 min walk away but never used it. Opening and closing the main gate was a pain but not the worst thing. The property was kept very clean very happy with our stay.

La Fortuna

Great location just on edge of La Fortuna but only few minutes drive to centre, house well stocked with all you need and extras like some games, yoga mats. Complex unusual as lots of plots but only a few houses so always had pool to ourselves. Would have liked directions to property rather than just google location

Great find! Very happy with it.

This was a great rental for our family of 2 parents and 3 children. It was clean and comfortable. The kitchen had all the little things you need for cooking. The air conditioning was appreciated. Happily surprised there was a dryer in addition to a washing machine! With the rain, the car park came in handy. Lots of bird chirping in the morning. You get a great view of the volanco from the driveway, not so much from inside (due to trees). La Fortuna proper is a little nutty (lots of street and people noise) so we preferred being a short drive away in a much quieter neighborhood. We did walk to a local restaurant for dinner. The pool was just meh - fine but nothing to write home about. Overall, we would absolutely stay here again if visiting La Fortuna.

Great little cabin- with a couple issues.

Place was what I thought. Great little cabin and we really liked the location. Didn’t appreciate that the host didn’t send us the access information and it took a bit to get a hold of the host. Host said they were having tech issues but then, I believe, the host should have confirmed or used other form of communication. A couple things didn’t work in the place. But overall was very good. I would recommend this cabin and would stay here again.

Great cabin and location

The cabin was great. AC worked great and it was very clean (once we got checked). We loved the pool access for our chill days. The location was perfect for us. Nice and quiet but just a short drive to many popular spots. We felt very safe here. Our check in was not very good. The host had a mix up on our check in day and the cabin was not ready/cleaned when we were suppose to check in. Luckily I had an eSIM on my phone so I could call the host directly. They don’t seem to use to VRBO chat. Once the host realized the mistake, they gave us the code for the door (because the code that was sent in the VRBO check in instructions was incorrect) so we could cool down and wait for them to set us up in another place to stay for that night. We ended up staying in a nice little place not far away which was good. We were told we could check into this place at 11:30am the next day or maybe earlier, they would message me when it was ready. Well we never got a message and we would periodically drive by to see if the cleaning staff was gone. We eventually got checked in but it basically ruined any chance of going out and doing anything that day. I’m still waiting for a reply on whether I will get any refund. It’s too bad because this place is very nice and the location is great. If you want to roll the dice on this place, I hope it works out for you because had it not been for the mix up and lack of communication I would give this place 5 stars.

A cute villa with a great location

The villa has an excellent location, close to town while being secluded. It had a nice patio where you could see birds every morning. The pool was nice and it was a short walk to the villa. The villa is clean and well-distributed, and the covered parking is appreciated during the rain. The washer and dryer were useful. The kitchen had the basic appliances, good for a quick and easy dinner. I would recommend to the host to add more plates and cups, more hangers in the bedrooms and a small table and chairs on the terrace. Overall, we enjoyed our stay, and I will stay again for a short stay.

Nice villa close to everything

We had a nice stay in mid-July. There is plenty of space and the kitchen is nicely equipped. The outdoor space is beautiful! We even found a sloth just a short walk down the main road. It's in a very quiet area and felt incredibly safe. We did not rent a car and had no issues getting affordable transportation into town or to the various sites that we visited. The only issue we had was our first taxi driver from La Fortuna back to the house had problems finding the house based on the address we were giving him. My husband and I weren't getting WiFi so I was unable to pull up the map link that the host provided. We eventually found our way back, but after that, we gave all of our drivers the name of a nearby property that is pinned on Google Maps and they were able to get us back without any issues.

Perfect Stay

We loved this house, it fit our family perfectly. Laundry machine, air conditioning, smart TVs and super quiet. The neighbourhood is a gated community and there is a shared pool, but we were the only ones that used it. Great times, about 5mins or less drive to the town. Also we saw gecko’s, toucan’s and lots of other birds from the house.
