Unfortunately, this hotel did not live up to expectations. While the staff were friendly, the rooms were outdated, with dirty carpet, and had a noticeable smell. Light beamed through the blinds (they aren’t actual blockout blinds) and noise from the corridor regularly disturbed our sleep. The pool and rooftop bar were also very different from the photos advertised. The pool was located in a narrow walkway to the bar, offering little privacy, and the elevated rooftop viewing area shown in promotional images had been completely removed. We also experienced ongoing maintenance issues with the TV, despite a visit from the technician. When we tried to arrange laundry service, reception did not answer the phone despite multiple attempts. Due to these issues, we decided to check out a day early and stay elsewhere. Disappointingly, the staff showed no interest in why we were leaving early and did not ask about our experience upon checkout.

I had a wonderful stay at The Legend of Hanoi in Vietnam. The hotel was clean, comfortable, and in a great location that made it easy to explore the city. The staff were kind, welcoming, and always ready to help with anything I needed. They made me feel at home from the moment I arrived. The room was well-kept, relaxing, and a perfect place to rest after busy days in Hanoi. I truly appreciated the hospitality and warm service throughout my stay. I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Hanoi and would happily stay here again.

Super friendly staff. Very clean. Nice food. Excellent air conditioning. Amazing roof top pool area. Wishing walking distance to night markets and main shopping areas.
