Below is a detailed description of the home. The 4,000 square foot home is located 7 miles North of Lahaina Town. Nestled in the tropical lush trees of Napili in Turtle Cove. Napili Village is within walking distance for groceries, amazing restaurants and the best coffee shop. Whalers Village is a 10 minute Drive from the house where you can reserve a table at The Hula Grill or show up in time for the Monkey Pod's amazing happy hour.

Beautiful ocean views await you with dramatic views of the island of Molokai from your lanai. A valley of foliage with tropical flowers borders 1 side of the home and a private backyard with bamboo trees is on the other. This is a rare, Hana-like setting in West Maui where other homes are not visible, ensuring your absolute privacy.

The home features password protected, high-speed internet and plenty of supplies including laundry detergent, dish soap and dishwasher detergent, paper supplies, beach towels, a well stocked kitchen etc. to make your stay most enjoyable.

INTERIOR:
The 2 level home's interior features 2 large living areas, (1 on each floor), granite countertops, Italian limestone and Eucalyptus hardwood flooring, carpeted bedrooms, and comfortable furnishings to relax your mind & spirit including a large indoor dining table which seats 8.

EXTERIOR:
Enjoy time outside on the back lanai taking in the ever-changing landscape of the island of Molokai while whale watching (in season) & watching surfers at the famous surf spot Little Makaha from your deck. Outdoor seating and an additional dining table for 6 are featured for dinner under the stars.

HOT TUB:
And just outside your front door is another gathering area with outdoor seating, a grill and hot tub under the Hawaiian foliage for your group to enjoy! This hot tub is just for your home.

YOUR HOME’S SETTING:
Maui Turtle Cove is located within a private 20 acre community. There's a walkway down through an amazing, lush valley to the beach cove and oceanfront/pool area right from your home. You’ll wind through a grove filled w/ mango trees as you walk to the beautiful Pacific Ocean with no streets to cross in just 3 minutes.
Enjoy the saline, heated pool and a small, sandy entrance to the beach with a fresh water shower and bathrooms and plenty of lounge chairs. The beach is swimmable with appropriate conditions and there is a family of Hawaiian Green Sea Turtles that live in the cove that can be seen virtually every day. Fantastic!
The pool area is shared with other homes in the private development.

We brought the entire family to celebrate our 50th Wedding Anniversary and it was fabulous. The house was everything they said it was and more. The pool was great and watching the turtles in the small bay was a lot of fun. Having lots on beach equipment made going to the beach a easy. The kitchen was well stocked and the meals we had there were easy to prepare. We would highly recommend renting.

Wonderful for a family vacation. Had everything we needed.
I recommend that there be a warning about the step up from the garage entrance. Multiple falls. Plants growing out of gutters reflects negatively on an otherwise beautiful place. Steps down to pool area can get slippery without some type of railing. These may be liability issues for owner.

First, the positives! + Incredibly responsive and helpful property management - Julie was a total pleasure + Walk down to the private cove and pool is incredible (lovely sunsets from the bluffs and SO MANY TURTLES!) + Close to market (you can walk to the grocery store), and short drive to wonderful beaches (our fave was DT Fleming) and great shopping (Whaler's Village) + Large and open common area that easily accommodates families who like to cook, which we did a lot of! Also appreciated the stocked propane for the outdoor grill! + Tons of beach chairs, boogie boards, sand toys to use and plenty of towels both bath and beach On the not so good.... - Apparently because of the rains, there was a rodent issue in the house. Specifically rats in the pantry. We had 3 dead rats caught in traps inside the pantry over the course of the first 3 days of our stay. Property management was very responsive and sent people to dispose of the dead rats, clean, and try to prevent more. - Layout of rooms and bathrooms was a bit odd and house generally is a bit outdated.

Swimming with Honu
This is a wonderful property! Our 3-generation family of 9 people spent 2 weeks in David's terrific home, making unforgettable memories. We highly recommend the house for an extended visit to paradise. Pros: Hands down, our favorite part of the property was the cove, where several members of our group swam with the sea turtles at all times of the day. And the fact that some of us could be at the pool and watch other family members enjoy the ocean just a few feet away -- that was great. About 90% of the time, we had the pool/cove entirely to ourselves! And on the very short walk from the house, we often picked up mangos that had recently dropped from the many (very tall) mango trees. Our second favorite thing was the back lanai, where we enjoyed the early morning bird serenades, lush vegetation and lovely sunsets. So peaceful, and the view was outstanding. The kitchen was very well equipped, and we did a lot of cooking. The mattresses were excellent, and the bath/beach towels high quality. Fran, the property manager, was very responsive to our occasional minor requests and questions. We felt well taken care of. The landscape staff came frequently to keep the outdoor areas clean/tidy. There was plenty of space in the house for everyone to have privacy when desired and to gather comfortably for meals and socializing. Cons: The bathroom situation was somewhat inconvenient at times. One of the downstairs bedrooms doesn't have access to a bathroom at night except for the one in the upstairs hallway. This meant the people in that bedroom had to go upstairs to use the bathroom in the middle of the night, and had to coordinate with others to get shower time in the en suite bathrooms in other bedrooms. Also, the upstairs hall bathroom, which serves bedroom #2 upstairs, had a nice bathtub with a hand-held shower attachment but no stand-up shower. The two people in that bedroom had to schedule time to use the shower in the master suite when they wanted to shampoo their long hair. The hot tub seemed to be in an odd place, in our opinion: a few feet in front of the house's front door. (That's probably why we didn't use it.) To us, the logical place for the hot tub would have been the lower-level patio, just outside the downstairs family room. Despite those minor things, we rate this a 5-star property. The location on Maui is wonderful -- convenient to food/essentials while also being in a peaceful, very beautiful spot. Stay there -- you'll love it!

This house is amazing! Celebrated my husband’s 60th bday with our kids and spouses and 3 grand babies . Very clean and organized. The pictures say it all . The kitchen is set up for anything you want to cook for a family meal. Plenty of towels and beach towels. Along with a Washer and dryer . The Furniture and beds are very comfortable. Best Experience ever. Fran was very accommodating and responsive when needed . Book your flight Just pack your clothes and go !

Fun family Christmas in Napili
We had a very merry Christmas week with cousins at Turtle Cove. First off, Fran is an excellent host. Very attentive! The house works well for a big group, with lots of room for hanging out together. The view from the lanai is fantastic. The great room is made even greater by the fact that the sliding doors open the full length of the lanai. The kitchen is well stocked. We had many dinners at home. It comfortably sleeps 9. We had parents upstairs, kids downstairs. The master bedroom suite is stunning and huge. The other bedrooms are comfortable but a bit dark, as the house is built into the hill. The bathroom situation is fine, just a little quirky --- Bedroom 2 has a jetted tub but no shower (just handheld), and Bedroom 3 has to access bathroom through other downstairs bedrooms or share with upstairs (the master bath became a family bath for us.) The loads of beach gear - chairs, boogie boards, snorkels, beach toys - came in very handy. The setting is beautiful and lush. We did not spend much time down by the pool as the cove was too rough for swimming and snorkeling, but imagine it is fantastic in calmer weather. We had a fun sunset excursion out to the rocks on the nob, where we met one of the resident turtles. Great spot and time for family photos! The Napili area has lots going on. Many beaches to check out. We enjoyed Oneloa and Kahekili. Kapalua Beach is beautiful, but too crowded at Christmas time. The Kapalua Coastal Trail is worth checking out (Ironwood cliffs are awesome). And the proximity of Napili Market is a big plus. Other recommendations include Whale Watch with the Pacific Whale Foundation, North Loop coastline road (hairy and awesome), backroad to Hana (same), Lahaina Pali Trail (beautiful and great for whale spotting), surf lessons with Rivers to the Sea, Moku Roots for lunch. And if you can snag parking res for Halakalea Sunrise, it is so worth getting up for! You will have a great time at Turtle Cove!

Craig and Fran were great hosts. We had a few questions the first couple of days and after that we didn't need anything from them. The pool and Turtle Cove were the highlights of our time spent at the home. The home was beautiful and our family especially enjoyed the art displays throughout the first and second floors. Other highlights included: the view from the upper lanai, birds singing in the morning, "hunting" for lizards-kid favorite and all the beach gear. We made use of almost all of it! To say the host were responsive would be a huge understatement, with a group of our size traveling across the pacific during the "post" pandemic period you are assured to have a few hiccups. Craig and Fran were top notch. The property was beautiful and more than capable of handling multiple generations and sizes. Pool is secluded and as private as one can expect of a shared asset. The private cove was great for snorkeling and floating, not perfect for beaching. however, one of the best beach/snorkle/paddleboard beaches in the world, Kapalua, is a five minute drive north. The only negative were the crowds, plan ahead if you have and "must dos" on your list. I'd also recommend Fleetwoods on Front Street for a sunset roof top meal......

In a word SPECTACULAR ! It has everything you need and more. The absolute best feature is the essentially private beach in a secluded cove a two minute walk away. You will be amazed with the turtles and colorful fish we swam with while snorkeling which we did every day. There is a pool at the beach but who wants a pool when you have the Pacific Ocean! Another plus is the shopping center with a market and restaurants a short stroll away. The view from the deck is amazing. The owners were extremely responsive to any questions we had. You can’t go wrong with this place!

This spacious home was pretty much as advertised. Lovely living quarters, especially upstairs. Well stocked kitchen and we used it a lot! Good location and proximity to attractions. We did get some icky bugs (the tropics, but maybe could have used a bit more spraying) and the hot tub was less than desirable - small and kinda smelly and the indoor spa/tub didn't work on the high setting. The pool was great, though a bit of a walk from the house. The bay was nice for snorkeling; we saw turtles and other interesting sea life. Overall a wonderful experience, the owners even included a gift basket.

We loved our stay, it truly is a beautiful home. The house is maintained well, was very clean and had all supplies needed for our stay. The area is gorgeous, the pool was wonderful and the cove was easy access. The turtles are beautiful and we saw them daily. A Private Resort in Paradise
This house is a mini resort in itself. The WOW factor can't be overstated with every convenience and need met for our family of 11. The house has two living areas, a gourmet kitchen with every appliance, a phenomenal master suite and beautiful, private landscaping. A short walk through a mango grove leads you to a quiet community pool and a private cove for snorkeling. A farther walk up a cliff rewards you with a stunning sunset. To really appreciate the house, grab your book and a glass of wine and make yourself comfortable on the back porch. As you take in the changing landscape of the island of Molokai across the Pacific channel, you won't finish the book but you will the wine.

Incredible property
We can't say enough about the property and our time here. The view is spectacular (of the ocean and the gardens), and we spotted whales a handful of times. We had plenty of space for 7 adults and 9 kids and so much to do for those days when we didn't want to drive far. The pool was basically empty whenever we went. The snorkeling in the cove was incredible; we never went out without at least seeing 2 turtles, usually more. The location is close to a market and restaurants, but this place feels secluded and private. It's a quick drive to other larger beaches with more space and sand, and also a relatively quick drive to Lahaina for a little more action. Communication with Fran was easy and fast. The home has EVERYTHING you need. Toaster, cooking utensils, spices, cribs, snorkels, boogie boards, towels, beach toys, play room for kids, weights for the family member who insists on working out on vacation. We usually like to try new places every vacation, but everyone in the group agreed we'd just come back here on our next visit to Maui. The only complaint we had was that due to COVID, the county is limiting gatherings to less than 10 people so we did get chased out of the pool once. The on-site property manager was friendly when explaining the rules to us, but it did mean we no longer went with the entire group down to the pool. Can't wait for our next visit!

AMAZING!
There is not enough words to explain the gratitude we have for Fran and Craig. The customer service for the whole year our trip was being canceled and continued on because of Covid. The home and location was the most beautiful stay I have ever had and we travel ALOT! Maui was the absolute best place we have traveled too also. Hands down! The home made it financially reasonable being able to cook and Fran has the place stocked with everything you would need. EVERYTHING! ABSOLUTELY AMAZING! THE ONLY PLACE WE WILL EVER STAY IN MAUI. Our extended family of 11 Adults stayed at this Amazing property 12/20-12/27/2020, sharing Christmas and also Celebrating our 30th Wedding Anniversary; it was an Incredible and Special Week. Fran and Craig Hill, the owners, were responsive, helpful, positive, and easy to work with coordinating our stay. The beautiful home with stunning ocean and Lana'i island views from the living room-kitchen/dining areas were breathtaking. We viewed whales daily as they spouted their way across the ocean. Everyone took advantage of snorkeling Turtle Cove just a short path below the house, mesmerized by the fish and turtles; so memorable. We were also blessed with fantastic weather, and also enjoyed the community pool, and the private hot tub at the residence. The property was perfect - beach, snorkeling, pool, hot tub, and my 27 year old son and 21 year old nephew also surfed just outside the cove one afternoon; such a great sight! This is a warm, inviting, and beautiful home - there was plenty of room for all of us to come together, or break into smaller groups depending on what we were doing. We had a Christmas Tree and decorations sent to the Hills' business in Lahaina, and they delivered it to the home before we checked in on the 20th. The extra refrigerator in the laundry room just off the garage was a bonus for our large group -with most of our meals prepared and enjoyed at home. The young adults enjoyed the beach just past Kapalua - Slaughterhouse Beach - and went there twice. We especially enjoyed our Christmas Morning Whale Watching Cruise with the Pacific Whale foundation eco-tours that was reserved for us by Karen D., Concierge for this lovely property. We had such an active viewing from 9-11am, we could not believe all the whales breaching, spouting, flapping their tails, communicating........we will all remember that incredible cruise for a very long time. If you are looking for a Special Property for a Memorable Visit, you will love all that this property offers......right at your footsteps. Of course, we day tripped past Kapalua around the island one day, went into Lahaina another, to Kihei for 2 boat rentals we had reserved for 12/26, dinner at Leilani's in Lahaina for our Anniversary, and also to Kahului to grocery shop........so much to do and see. We all agreed that during this challenging year - we were so grateful and thankful to be able to come together to spend a truly treasured magical week long stay. Mahalo nut loa!

Family COVID Visit to Maui
I can't say enough about how perfect this house & location are. Plenty of room in a very clean and well provided house. Internet was great & the house had 200% more of the amenities anyone could expect (kitchen equipment, beach gear etc.). Super comfortable and quiet location but with easy access to shops and great public beaches. The pool and ocean access made it wonderful to enjoy a visit without even leaving the property. The owners could not have been more welcoming and helpful.

Fantastic stay
For our large family of 15 people this was a perfect house. We had lots of room great living area with wide open balcony. Kids loved the large pool close to the ocean and the view from the house balcony was great. Best of all was the excellent service we got from both Fran and Craig the owners. They went over and above to ensure our stay was great. Excellent communication and prompt action on a few small things that needed fixing was very appreciated. We would highly recommend staying in this home for any large group
