This 2 bedroom 1 bath offers a peaceful retreat from the hurried life. The cabin is located across the street from Gray Lake , with lake views. A small public beach access is down the road. The Cabbage is Near Pere Marquette paved Rails to Trails, Lakeside Bar and Grill , and a historic General Store. There is also a coffee shop open in the summer season. The yard has a rustic firepit. There are 2 kayaks. There are two T.V.s - one in the twin room and one in the living room. There is Wi-FI. Rocko Tv and a DVD player with numerous videos. There are also games and cards for that rainy Day. Of which you'll love the sound of the rain on the metal roof. This Cabin was just renovated and June 1 2022 is its first debut. Bath towels and Bed Linens provided. For cooking there is a Microwave, hot plate, and a toaster oven. A grill , Keurig coffee pot also.

Beautifully peaceful

This adorable cabin is in a lovely location. We enjoyed kayaking on the lake, playing music by the picnic table, and enjoying the tranquility. Everything we needed was included!

Perfect quiet getaway

We came up for a quiet retreat after a busy work season, and The Cabbage was perfect! We were able to sit by the fire, play games, do a puzzle, and read. We had a great time, and we had everything we needed for a long weekend.

Perfect winter hideaway!

We arrived at the cabbage on February 2, 2025 and regret that we had to check out today! We could stay weeks! We have had a spectacular visit. The cabin is cozy, comfortable, and tastefully decorated! Everything has been thoroughly selected for the space and for ease of use. The windows allow visitors to experience views of the snow covered surroundings and the constant fire in the gas fireplace adds warmth and ambience. We will remember this visit with great fondness, and we are thankful to the hostess for creating and sharing the special place.

Great rustic getaway

My family had a wonderful stay here. The house had the basics we needed, but had a great camping feel. The property was great, with a grill and a firepit. The lake also had great fishing!

Very Cozy - Exactly as Pictured

We loved our stay at the Cabbage. The property was exactly as described and had everything we needed for our weekend away. We only wished that we could have stayed longer! Highly recommend!

Great cottage getaway

This was the perfect place for my family to unwind together. We went on daily walks around the lake, enjoyed family games and watched some movies together. I'd come back in a heartbeat.

Quaint Little Cabin in the Woods

The cabbage was adorable and very comfortable. It had a lovely view of the lake and was close enough to the main roads. Will definitely be booking again.

Cabbage getaway

Nice. Peaceful location. Perfect for a short getaway. I’m 3 days got in some fishing in Crooked Lake, biked 15 miles on the Pere Marquette Trail, and went canoeing on the Muskegon River. Kids enjoyed the new activities, and loved the cozy feel of the cabin. Enjoyed hot dogs and smoresover the fire. Would recommend to anyone for a quiet retreat. Thank you.

Relaxing, charming cabin on a small private lake

The Cabbage is a cozy, charming updated cabin near a small, private lake. Situated in a wooded area, the property is large and includes a garage with kayaks. Beds are comfy and lots of small amenities included. One close neighbor but they were not on site while we were there. Lots of things to do in the small area towns. We would love to visit again and stay in The Cabbage.

Nice getaway from the city

My boyfriend and I stayed at the Cabbage with our pups and it was amazing! Easy check in, remote from the city, updated appliances, and clean. The host did a great job at communicating and had all the appliances needed for grilling & cooking. I would highly recommend if you’re looking to disconnect from the city.

Overall the say was amazing but my only one down fall was the main bedroom had a leak in the sealing and the bed was completely wet. It was just me and my boyfriend so the second room was very helpful in this situation.

Cute, clean cottage

We really enjoyed our stay at the "Cabbage." The backyard is huge and private with a great fire pit. The neighborhood was quiet and we talked to several friendly people. We really enjoyed walking the kayaks on their little wheeled devices to the boat launch on Gray Lake. The lake is bigger than it looks once you are on it. We saw a lot of wildlife, including several loons. The bass fishing was excellent! Thank you for sharing your cute cottage with us.
