When I checked in I asked if our stay was for 3 nights and the front desk told me yes till Saturday. I received a call on Friday about 3:30 that we needed to check out because our stay ended at 11AM on Friday. I clearly wanted to stay for 3 nights and thought I paid for it. Expedia was for only the 2 days, but I clearly entered thru Saturday. My mistake was not noticing the error ahead of time, BUT the error could and should have been addressed when we checked in. This was our 40th anniversary, with reservations Saturday night to go to a very fine restaurant that night. If check out was at 11AM, why did they wait to call me till after 3:30? Never going there again. How awkward not to have a place to stay for such a important visit. Again, I did not see that somehow my 3 night stay was changed somehow to 2 nights. Going back to Hotels.com. and Even if the hotel would have tried to smooth over the problem, I wouldn't stay there again. For the high amount the room cost was for the closet we stayed in is NOT worth it. Be warned.
