From the outside the building isn’t glamorous but it’s very safe and the apartment is plenty big for a family of 4, maybe even more if people sleep on the sofas on the living room. The shower works well but there’s no separate shower area or curtains so the owner provides a squeegee and slippers. The boiler is big so many people can shower in a near time. “The hotel wasn’t acting like a 5* hotel. The facilities are good but the staff was extremely rude and incompetent. We were welcomed with no toilet paper in our room (like none) and no hair conditioner. The biggest shock for me was the receptionist who supposed to receive a package which I phoned earlier about and it was rejected 3 times with no phone call to me. “I'm travelling with large bags, so I wanted somewhere very near the railway station, but still walkable to all the amazing sites in this most beautiful of cities. It's a gem! This hotel is virtually attached to the railway station, but it's modern, clean, comfortable beds, good bathrooms, and very cheap for the quality. In short, it's the perfect solution for my needs on this trip. A good buffet breakfast is available, but finishes at 9:00am, so just watch that.”
