"Fantstic house in the gorgeous Caporotono area close to Pisticci, 25 minutes from the beach. The accomodation exists of a main house (kitchen, living room, master bedroom) and two smaller units (both double bedrooms with their own entrance and private bathroom). Two outside showers and a lovely garden with a large covered terrace. "The apartment is well maintained, well furnished and Samantha as well as Antonietta were friendly and caring. At arrival everything was as presented and announced. There was a welcoming package and everything was prepared with hospitable care. The town center is nearby, and a store for groceries is at walking distance. In the morning we used to walk to the city center, on the way there you can find many places to taste the local foods as well as bars to have for example an Italian breakfast or...

"Our host Pietro was very welcoming and provided us with lots of information. The accommodation was clean and provided lots of room for 5 ladies (thankful for 2 bathrooms). Location was perfect, within walking distance of the old town of Matera. Lots of privacy and parking available. If we ever get back to the enchanting city of Matera would definitely stay here again."

"Amazing property and Nicola was so welcoming and helpful. Even brought us some local delicacies on one of the evenings. Pool was spotlessly clean and very well maintained. Perfect villa for family or group of friends. Remember - there are no internal doors between the rooms - this didn't bother us. Location is very secluded and quiet. Defo need a car to get around. Alberobello is only 15 mins away and other main towns between 30 and 40 mins. We loved our stay - thanks so much Nicola!"

"A really charming, family friendly home offering both indoor and outdoor comfort! The home was really well equipped to meet all our needs. The pool and shaded outdoor areas were the highlight for our family (the sunshine helped of course). Our family of 7 were very comfortable in this lovely home. The caretaker, Pepino was a gentleman and most helpful. We made day trips to Matera, Noci, Alberobello and our location was perfect for this. We would recommend highly."

Vicino al mare anche se serve la macchina visti i 2-3km di distanza, cosa comunque non problematica per gli ampi parcheggi gratuiti (e totalmente vuoti a fine luglio) dei lidi vicini. Mare bello sabbioso ma non super-trasparente come potrebbe essere puglia o sardegna."

Kitchen could be better equipped if you plan on cooking. Montescagliosa is a charming mountain town and a nice change from nearby towns with more tourists than locals walking the cobbled streets."
