"Beautiful"

"We had an excellent stay at the Kenmore Club. The area was very peaceful and we enjoyed the hotel facilities which included swimming, tennis and mini golf. The staff were very friendly and helpful and we used the SMS service for quick messaging to the desk. The accommodation was a little dated and some of the fixtures were needing a refresh but that didnt detract from our stay. We were glad we got a chance to eat at the Waterfront restaurant. The service was excellent and our food was really good. We will return here again and hopefully get one of the modern cottages next time."

"Fabulous stay - scenery is unbeatable. Service from staff is first class. Food in the à la carte Restaraunt by far the highlight. Good breakfast selection and fresh eggs/porridge made to order. TV system was down, didn’t impact us because of the storm recently. The drive in and out to Pitlochry is like being in a James Bond film. "

"Great comfy rooms with lots of nice touches like water, Arran toiletries and local made shortbread. Bed was so comfy. Pool area was nice. Easy to park and staff very friendly. Great location with lovely walk into Aberfeldy down by the river. So many attractions close by and a great base for exploring. Breakfast tasty and good selection of continental items on top of the cooked breakfast."

"Receptionists on arrival and departure very obliging and helpful giving my wife and I an upgraded room as there was one available. All staff polite and made sure all was to our satisfaction. Dinner menu was such that there was a good choice, all reasonably priced and cooked / presented to a high standard. Likewise for breakfast. Good touring base and would recommend."

"Every time we come back to the Royal, it never ceases to disappoint. The staff are the people who make this such a special and charming hotel. The warmest of welcomes and we were so well taken care of. Attentive and polite customer services, similar to that of Ashford Castle, that seems to be lost in many establishments these days. The only complaint we had, was that the bedroom was cold even with the small radiator up to its maximum temperature, and the fires had not been lit in the bar area or the library. (It was 5 degrees outside). The reason given was the chimneys hadn’t been swept. So bring jumpers and warm pyjammas! Overall, though, I would always recommend this charming hotel, situated in the heart of glorious Perthshire. Food was great, good wines, board games in the library. Just please have the fires lit, as would be expected in an old coach house, and to compliment the warm welcome that was given by the staff. The room was immaculate. And beautifully decorated. (Room 4- a twin) Other restaurant to book within 5 minutes walk of the hotel, is the Deil’s Inn, and also the Deil’s Cauldron walk can be done easily from the hotel. Lots of lovely local shops and cafes within 2 minute walk. And if you are going to any events at Crieff Hydro, but would prefer the old style charm of a place, go to The Royal in Comrie, an easy drive to and from any events in Crieff. Long live the Royal Hotel and all those who work there! Thank you for your kind hospitality. "
