10/10 Excellent

"This was perfect for a family holiday. The house is clean, spacious and very well equipped for those who want to cook and eat in-house. The garden is lovely, with lots of space and with different areas to sit out. The gite is about a 10 minute walk from Carentan, or a few minutes in the car. Carentan is about 60 minutes easy driving from Caen. Our host, Mme Haubois, was very welcoming and gave us some good ideas on where to eat and visit, and sorted out a minor issue with the washing machine very quickly. I can highly recommend this gite for a family holiday!."

"Stayed for one night as part of cycle trip with a group. Downstairs garage for Stephanie of bikes. Located around retail area which is not ideal for centre of Saint Malo. Good sized and comfortable. Bath in room was great after a day cycling. Breakfast a little over-priced. Helpful front desk."

"We had a fabulous holiday while staying at the Gite. Ideal base for touring this side of Normandy. Such a pretty and quite place to stay. Fantastic dark sky above the Gite. Was very warm and cosy inside. Valerie is the perfect host, warm and friendly. Perfect welcome drink of home made Calvados. Gorgeous garden and sun trap. Beautiful friendly dog next door. If you want peace and lots of beautiful towns and beaches. This Gite is ideal for any family. We will be back. "

"Located in the center of Carentan across from the bahnhof, this hotel is easy to find. Parking is available in back or on the street. The room we stayed in #11, has no interior curtains. To have privacy, you close the outdoor shutters and lock them, the close the windows. No electric outlets in the bathroom or 2nd room where 2 single beds are located. Rooms are clean, bed was firm.
