"This stay was my first experience of hostel stay in Dublin, and it came with it's own learnings. I realized that I should use the pod only for sleeping, and not expect (or get bothered with) interactions with fellow pod-occupiers in same room. Community areas are pretty good - with live (and loud) music at night and bar facilities, also breakfast menu is acceptable. If you're spending 16 hours roaming the city, and be at the hostel only for 8 hrs sleep, then this is the appropriate facility you...

"The hostel is located at the center of the city. Close to everything. Bus stop is just in front of the front-door, and there is a supermarket next to the hostel. The only disadvantage for me is the noise. The bathroom is in the room, so when people using the toilet or taking the shower, it’s quite loud. Overall, it’s good place and price for shot staying."

We weren't told where to have breakfast and we got lost trying to find it, then we didn't get told what we could eat in terms of our coupons and we didn't get to eat the following two days after paying for it. "The proximity of the property to downtown Dublin is unbeatable. Being located between the Guinness Storehouse and the Temple Bar made walking a breeze. The parking was extremely secure and I felt comfortable leaving my rental car. My only issue was exiting the locked car park early in the morning. I was given a number to call if I left before 10am to open the gate. They were helpful, but it still took ~20 minutes before I could get out of the car park. "

"The area was beautiful and the few staff we encountered were courteous. The bunkroom we stayed in had dirty blue pillowcases, fitted sheets, and duvets. This is a shared room hostel which is a great way to meet people from around the world. The wifi was so weak we had to either sit at reception or not have access. "This was a good choice for a 1 night stay. If staying several nights in Dublin, I would probably go elsewhere. The location was very good: a short walk to the Liffey River and touristy section of Dublin. The immediate Area of LIVStudent Dublin was less touristy and had some good pubs (Cobblestones has good live music, Walsh's Pub had great atmosphere, bartenders, and friendly locals) and restaurants (Lavanda, Wuff).
