This hotel is steeped in history, and this history is clearly displayed throughout the hotel. There is a really interesting book in the communal area downstairs which is worth looking through. Although the hotel could do with a decor update, it was clean and comfortable, with lots of the original features which added to the character of the building. We didn’t have much interaction with any of the staff, so can’t really comment. The breakfasts we had were really nice and plentiful. There was a bacon, eggs, cereal, yoghurt, toast, cheeses and meats, as well as fruit juice, tea and coffee. The location to the lake was really good, and only a five minute walk, which leads to a lovely beach area to go for a swim. It is about a 15-20 minute walk to the town which can be accessed by a lovely walk lakeside, or through a lovely residential area.

Historic building close to Leksand

We enjoyed our stay here - the building is lovely and historic, just outside town. As we arrived after 6pm check in was closed but the details were left on the desk. Breakfast was good, although the restaurant was closed in the evening. Paying was quite problematic if you don't have a Swedish bank account - had to transfer the balance on returning home!

レクサンド駅から徒歩で約20分 少し距離はありますが、静かな街の風景や可愛い家並みをのんびりと散策していると、クラシカルな素敵なホテルに辿り着きます。 インテリアも良き古き時代のスタイルが残されていて、タイムスリップしたかのような空間でした。 スタッフは常駐ではなく、限られた時間のみ在中のようです。 早朝にチェックアウトの予定でしたので、モーニングボックスをお願いすると快く引き受けてくれました。 とても親切に対応して頂きました。

Behöver lite mer omsorg när det gäller slitaget. Fantastisk fint och mysigt men lite ofräscht och omålat här och var. Rummet fint men flera lampor utan kontakter. Spegel på konstigt ställe utan kontakt för hårtork. Ca 2000/ natt är lite i överkant för den standarden. Men kunde vara värt det dubbla om det hade varit tipp topp. Men vi vill bo där igen om vi planerar att åka till Leksand igen. Middagen i restaurangen var över förväntan. Vill gärna tipsa om att göra en bättre marknadsföring för konkurrenterna i närheten är inget jämförelsevis. Jättetrevlig servitör och god mat! Goda viner fanns dessutom till rimligt pris. Den fina lugna trädgården är en pärla! Men vi förstår inte riktigt varför ingen har klippt ner häcken lite så man kunde få se den fina utsikten över Siljan? Ingen standardmjölk till frukost är trist och dessutom bara laktosfria alternativ.

Bullrigt med rum mot fläkten på kortsidan. Gick inte att sova med fönstret öppet pga bullret, och då blev det väldigt varmt. Tråkigt med så dålig dusch, där draperiet heller inte täcker ordentligt varför det kome rut på golvat vid toaletten tex så att nästa person blir blöt om fötterna. Fanns inget att svabba upp med heller. Underkänt på frukostsidan med gammal (?) bröd och få tillbehör samt riktigt blaskigt kaffe.
