9/10 Wonderful! (455 reviews)
The Oliver Hotel is a short-term vacation rental being represented as a hotel. There is no staff and telephone support is not able to resolve basic problems.
I contacted customer service to request a code for my room as the link I received provided a code only for the main door, but the customer service rep told me I would just have to wait for another link. There is no staff onsite to assist customers. Expedia customer service would have to contact the property manager. At that point, I suggested it would be better to just cancel the reservation as the whole situation seemed very frustrating. The Expedia representative contacted the property manager who was unable to assist, so the Expedia rep sent an email to the property owner. I was told I would receive a call from the property management the following day. I didn't have access to the room, and I couldn't speak with anyone who could give me access to the room or cancel my reservation.
I didn't receive a code for the room until 7:45pm. At that point I had already gotten a room at a property that has staff, so we did not use the room at Oliver Hotel. My request for a refund was denied. I never received a call from property management. I paid for a room I was not able to use.
