“Lovely old coaching inn and nice rooms too. It was lovely sat out in the forecourt having a drink undercover. My evening meal in pub was very nice , bit expensive and limited menu but tasted great. Breakfast was lovely and the Manager who was very friendly and I believe from Australia -and her assistant -were very helpful even allowing me to have it early as I had a show to get too. This was above and beyond and means I will definitely come back, Thank you”

“We were looking for an overnight stop travelling back North from Southampton and came across here. There was a big extension being built to the front of the pub so parking was difficult but otherwise caused no inconvenience. We had 3 rooms and all were very comfortable and well equipped .
