The building had been used for apartments, so I actually was staying in a small apartment with kitchen, living room, armchairs and a couch, aside from the usual bedroom and bath. It would be great for folks needing a bit more room for meeting friends or family. BUT if you just need a friendly, comfortable stop overnight, Lewellen Lodge works great! They bend over backwards to accomodate you. The place is quiet and definitely no frills. The only problem we had was getting someone to check us in after having made a reservation online, arriving and calling the number posted on the door. After waiting a 1/2 hr. we found a second number in an advertisement and that person got a hold of the person on site.
