Staff was very helpful and polite. Staff dealt with unruly patron and their guests professionally. Asked them to leave, giving us confidence on their comittment to hotel safety. Property is older but room was upgraded. Room smell could be improved. Larger inroom fridge. Microwave and in room coffee. It was a fine stay given the really low price point. Plenty of parking. Easy late checkout options. Bed wasnt too hard. I will go back.

Ok-ish for a work trip

The place is well cared for and clean. Room was in good shape. My first night someone tried to break down my door. Might have been a confused drunk-I’m not sure. Some people smoking weed across the hall which doesn’t seem cool in a hotel. I had a nice lobster roll in the restaurant next door.

We arrived late. The navigation was wrong said we were there about a mile or more away. Had to call hotel. When arriving some drunk was fighting with his girlfriend in driveway. I was worried about my vehicle. The room was not bad but I was already uneasy so didn't sleep well. Breakfast was included. That was a joke! Cold cereal or waffles. So waffles & they were dry. Went to breakfast somewhere else. Its not a bad place if you need a spot to stop and just sleep. Bed not bad But walls are extremely thin!

The staff was good. There was urine and hair on the pedistil of the toilet. There was tooth paste splatter on the mirror. The toilet paper holder fell out of the hole in the wall. Thank goodness the beds were clean.

TV didn't work. Breakfast was lousy. Consisted of Raisin Bran, Cornflakes, milk, watered down coffee, white bread, butter, and hostess cupcakes. Second day there wasn't any milk or butter. Worst hotel breakfast ever.

So much potential!

This motel has so much potential but appears as little time and energy is put in to fixing it up and maintaining. It is nothing like the pictures which is deceiving. The lamp did not have a lightbulb. Curtain rod falling down. We did find the mattress fairly comfortable. It says that it serves breakfast but this had much to be desired. By investing money into this place, this hotel would be a nice stay.

The property it in a very sketchy location as soon as you drive in the place is under construction. We walked inside and it smelled terrible the lady at the desk was nice. We got a key to our room and walked down to the hallway which smelled and was very creepy vibes. Walked past a few rooms one smelled like complete drugs and the other was very loud with a party going on. We walked into the room and again it smelled like mold the cabinets were destroyed and filthy I refused to sit on the bed and the bathroom was even worse. Bugs everyone

I was given a room where the table lamp was broken, the refrigerator was not plugged in. The second room that they gave me - the door was open and the cleaning crew was there and told me it hadn't been cleaned yet. The third room had a submarine sandwich in the refrigerator. The room smelled. No one was at the front desk at checkout, I had to call on the phone there and I clearly awakened them. Zero stars.

This hotel was uninhabitable. The office was filthy as was the entrance. We asked to see a room and it was dirty--unvacuumed. bed sloppily made, hair in the showeretc, The window in the room was broken and loose, We went back to the office and told the person on duty and he promised he would refund our payment because the room and building were disgusting. He did not and we are now trying again to explain that htis hotel is not as represented on your website and we shouldn't be forced to stay in an unsafe place that was mispresented on Travelocity website. Iam a long standing customer of Travelocity and was horrified at the conditions in this hotel. Please work with them to refund our money. Fortunately we were able to find a room in another hotel for the night,

I was there for two hours and it was to start, filthy and in near ruins. I hardly spent anytime in the hotel before the hotel manager kicked me out at 9:30 at night during a huge storm because I told a couple other customers the price I had paid here on Expedia. I was forced to bring myself and my belongings outside with me in the storm and then he made me go to the parking lot next door. A little excessive over absolutely nothing. There was black mold all through out the room, and the front of the building is falling apart. He informed me that I would get my money back from what I had paid but I have yet to see a refund. I am extremely unsatisfied, truly disgusted, and feel as though it would be best for it to be shut down in all honesty. There is hardly anything in the area so it’s really inconvenient to try and find somewhere to eat at any given time with out ordering. I will be contacting the corporate office for this Super 8 location.

Worst hotel I've ever seen :(

We chose to stay a night in Lewiston because Portland was unaffordable, but we regretted not paying a little extra to get a minimal level of cleanliness. We thought we would get a clean, basic room, but it was terrible. I never thought it would be possible to get such a bad room in a big hotel chain like Super 8. The beds were clean but I doubt that the rest of the room had been cleaned. We decided right away that we weren't going to use the shower (the curtain pole was falling and the bath was so dirty). There were cigarette burns everywhere: on the fridge, on the toilet bowl, in the sink, on the carpet, on the chair... At midnight, someone knocked on our door (which didn't have a lock other then the magnetic card), twice. We were freaked. When I yelled that the room is occupied, we just heard someone mumble and try other doors. We didn't see the continental breakfast but even if there was one, we wouldn't have tried it. To be fair, the staff was really friendly and nice. It's a family that just acquired the building, I hope they'll be able to do updates in the rooms and keep the business going!

The room was basically OK. The heater made a lot of variable sounds, which kept us from sleeping deeply. The sheets were a little rough. But otherwise it was quiet. It was fine. The room itself was in need of some paint in places.

Upon check inI learned the handicapped accessible room I had on my reservation was not available. Apparently the guest in that room extended for another night and the “reservation system” gave him precedence over my reservation, forcing us into a standard room which was only marginally adequate to our needs. The morning breakfast offered meager choices as well. Our stay was not a good value for the price. No rate discount or other compensation was indicated to be available to mitigate the situation except a discount for a future stay at this particular property which over a thousand miles from our home.
