Vyhlídka na Kapelu, Hrube rocks, Bohemian Paradise, Czech republic

Bohemian Paradise (=Český Ráj) is a nature reserve protected area established in 1955 and it is located in North Bohemia. It has a varied country side with plenty of first and beech surrounding wonderful sandstone rock formations. The water, wind and frost erosion has left many uniquely shaped rock towers having up to 60 meters of height and these are a popular place for Czech rock climbers for decades. 

In the picture is the main part of Hrube rocks in Bohemian Paradise. This panoramic viewpoint is called View of the Orchestra. The Orchestra is the group of the sandstone towers on the left, with one needle standing before them, which is called the Dirigent. On the right in the background is the Lighthouse area with Lighthouse and Gate rocks.

“Alles in allem war unser Kurzurlaub hier sehr schön, aber das Appartement war etwas klein, aber es hat uns an nichts gefehlt. Wir wurden mit kleinen Aufmerksamkeiten empfangen, für jeden etwas dabei. Ganz besonders schön fanden meine Mädels und mein Mann die Sauna. ”

“Wohnung an sich ist von den Räumlichkeiten sehr großzügig für vier Personen. Die Wohnung an sich ist stellenweise renovierungsbedürftig und an den Wände sollte man nicht kommen, dann sind die Sachen gleich gefärbt. Zusätzlich sind die Betten sehr hart und man spürt die Federkerne durch. Erholsamer Schlaf ist anders. Gegend wie immer sehr schön, immer wieder ein Urlaub wert.”

“Wir waren das erste mal in Harrachov und wir kommen gern wieder. Die Ferienwohnung war großzügig geschnitten und die Bilder im Inserat haben nicht zuviel versprochen. Ein kleines Manko war die Hellhörigkeit des Objektes: wir wurden allmorgendlich durch die über uns wohnende Familie bzw. deren kleine Kinder geweckt. Aber das war zu verschmerzen. Check-in und Check-out waren entspannt, wir bekamen auch einige gute Tips und auch die Harrachov-Card war bereits bei unserem Eintreffen für uns……

“Das Kinderzimmer ist sehr geräumig mit einer sehr beliebten Sackschaukel. Auch das Kibderbillard war äußerst beliebt bei unseren Kindern (8, 6 und 4 Jahre). Auch sonst gab es viel Spielzeug.Die Räume waren hell und modern eingerichtet, die Betten bequem. Alles war sehr sauber.Die Möglichkeit, zu waschen (und zu trocknen), war sehr nützlich.Die Unterkunft liegt unweit eines Supermarktes und um die Ecke ist eine Rodelbahn mit einem Kletterwald.”
