"I had a classic single room which was really small, but just enough for one person and was a great little base to operate from. The bed was comfortable, but the room has no table so I had to use the little stool as one and sit on the bed to use my laptop. The bathroom was just the perfect size, and the shower was great with very good water pressure. Breakfast was very minimal, and the coffee was not being filled fast enough to keep up with demand. "For the price, the accomodation was great! It was in a nice area and easily accessible by public transport. The room itself was a bit outdated. The beds were a little uncomfortable and the sheets were quite thin (perfect for summer!) as well as the towels. Bathrooms were pretty standard. There was no one ever at the reception which is why I gave it 4 stars. I like having someone manning the hotel I am staying at, however, overall, pretty good stay! Would recommend for friend travelling together...

"The promo for this hotel on Expedia was very misleading. We wanted to stay on or near Vaxholm. This hotel ad claims to be right near Vaxholm but it is nowhere near it, unless maybe you have private transportation We paid for the room at a non refundable rate . It is hard to get to Vaxholm from this hotel without a car. We therefore could not stay at the hotel. In fact, we immediately realized that as soon as we made the reservation and called the hotel and contacted Expedia but Expedia said...

Excellent daily breakfast, walkable to public transportation, beautiful scenery, right on the water, tons of areas to relax outside and the coffee/ espresso machines were a welcomed surprise!!!!Johanna at the front desk was the best. "This is just one of the coolest, well designed and remodeled properties, I've encountered. The rooms are awesome - the interior of the building is tremendous and the staff is so very lovely. Yes, it's across the bridge, but still only 12-15 minutes from Central station. I will 100% stay here again."
