It was very nice and air-conditioned room. Sofa bed was too short and no linen was available.

This is bang in the centre of town, close to restaurants, sights. Everything is within walking distance. The lady gave me clear instructions on how to access the building and my room as there's usually no-one in reception. She was very helpful when i was looking at train times to Traki castle. The room is very simple, had a kettle, some tea sachets. The shower had instant hot water (great as i usually have to wait for it to heat up). I did have breakfast once which was rye bread, salmon, little mozzarella balls, yohurt with muesli/nuts and coffee. It shares the front door with a Japanese restaurant and theres a constant smell of old fried oil in the air which i disliked. It would be great to have some candles or pot pouri to offset the smell.

This hotel looks older than I expected but it’s beautiful. I loved my room. I was late arriving as arrived on a late train. The receptionist was extremely welcoming. I was left a small bottle of Prosecco, 2 small muffins and 2 bottles of water as my VIP gifts. I sincerely appreciated these after my rather long journey. The train station is about a 15 minute walk from the hotel. While the hotel overlooks a square with several restaurants - it was extremely quiet and I didn’t hear any noise from the street. I stayed at the hotel for 3 nights but only had breakfast on two occasions as I left at 3.20am on my last day. I was asked if I wanted a breakfast box but I declined. The buffet breakfast had lots of choices. I was disappointed it was only available on the Saturday morning at 8am as I was anxious to eat early. It also was a little disorganised when I arrived with several items not being available for 15-20 minutes later. There was other people waiting to go in when I arrived down also. I want to particularly mention the young male receptionist and I am sorry I didn’t get his name. He arranged my taxi for me to get to the airport the morning I left. I had asked him about it the night before. He told me the estimated price and walked me to the door to ensure I got into it safely. As a female solo traveller I sincerely appreciate this extremely courteous gesture and want to thank him again. I highly recommend this hotel and will stay here when I next visit Vilnius.
