Lovely quiet spot
The chalet was lovely, and Lucia was a gracious and helpful from the moment we arrived. The house was spotless and set in a really quiet location with views of the surrounding countryside.
The house was well equipped, had decent internet connectivity and had sufficient space and bathrooms for a large group. Access was fine, with ample parking. Shops were a reasonable distance, with a good Boulangerie nearby. There were hikes you could take more or less on the doorstep and close to the lakes of Gerardmer and Xonrupt Longemer, and the Cascades in Tendon.
We’d happily return or recommend it. We did have some challenges reaching the property owner (twice) before our booking, however both times we eventually did speak and he was very affable and accommodating and this wouldn’t put us off recommending. He was friendly and helpful, we’d just have wished for a more prompt response.
