A château built in 1904 by Pierre Mathieu Bodet, Minister of Finance under the Third Republic. Located just outside Angoulême, in Moulède in the Charente department (Linars), it stands out for its seaside-style architecture and English-inspired design. Just a 10-minute drive from downtown Angoulême and 30 minutes from Cognac, its location is unmissable. With its tastefully decorated, comfortable interior steeped in history, enjoy a timeless getaway during your stay. On the first floor, you’ll have access to the breakfast room, the living room, the dining room, and the bow window during the off-season. All four guest rooms are located on the first floor of the building. "Bedroom 4" features a queen-size bed (160×200) with high-quality bedding and a closet for hanging and/or storing your belongings. The adjoining private bathroom is equipped with a vanity, a toilet, and a large shower. You have access to all the rooms on the first floor (namely: the breakfast room, the living room, the dining room, and the bow window) as well as your bedroom upstairs. We live in a private section of the estate, so we are usually present and available as needed. Moulède is a peaceful village on the outskirts of Angoulême, nestled between the city and the countryside. We’ll be delighted to welcome you between 5:00 p.m. and 9:00 p.m.; for any arrivals outside this time frame, a fee of 10 euros per hour will apply (subject to approval of your request).
