There was a bakery and supermarket within easy walking distance and a delightful pizzeria, which we visited twice during our stay ! "Wegen geänderter Verkehrsführung nicht einfach zu finden- das Navi wollte uns immer wieder auf den für Autos inzwischen gesperrten Bahnübergang leiten und ignorierte den offiziellen neuen Weg. Mit dem Fahrrad gut überall hin zu kommen. Blick vom Balkon auf die Berge und mit etwas vorbeugen seitlich auf den Bodensee. Leider genau gegenüber des Balkons eine stark befahrene Bahnstrecke mit einem beschrankten Bahnübergang. Mehrmals pro Stunde fängt die Glocke an zu klingeln und die Schranken gehen...

"Excellent hotel. Clean and quiet room with a lake view. Very comfortable bed. Slept better throughout our vacation there than at home. We stayed during a heatwave and the room had excellent air conditioning. Helpful and friendly staff. Plentiful and varied breakfast. Location great as a few minutes walk from both the main train station and bus station. Cannot fault anything during our stay and If we visit the area again we would definitely stay here."
