I arrived on Sunday, September 29. Neither my reservation with Expedia nor the hotel's site mentioned that the hotel front desk as well as the hotel is closed on Sunday. Luckily I received an email from the hotel a few days before my arrival that advised me of this and the fact that I had to access the key for my room at a lock box at the front door of the hotel using a code sent in the email and thus I was able to let myself into the hotel and my room. Arrived late and took a taxi to the hotel from the central station, although it turns out that most trams seem to go to a stop at Hauptplatz very close to the hotel.
The hotel is very pleasant with its lobby on the second floor (in the American sense). The hotel is architecturally an older building with character with an interior sort of court with balconies that access the rooms.
My room was huge, although a little quirky in its layout, but that was charming and in no way negative....
