A areia estava maculada com muitas algas mas fui informado que parte das algas são deixadas na praia pois fazem parte de um micro ecossistema. Atrás da praia existe uma lagoa que à época exalava um cheiro forte de mangue.

Cockleshell Bay is a bay of clean water and calm sea. The beach is good for kids. At the time I visited it, the infrastructure was small, with only one bar and one restaurant. The sand was contaminated with many algae, but I was informed that some of the algae are left on the beach because they are part of a micro ecosystem. Behind the beach there is a lagoon that at the time exuded a strong swamp smell.
