Really clean refurbished hotel, very nice staff, great breakfast, good position between the old town and the railway and bus stations.

It’s an ok hotel but nothing great. Very basic. Staff is kind but a bit slow. Getting a copy of a receipt is either impossible or takes 30 min. The location is an east walk to the city. I smelled cigarette smoke coming into my room on my last night which isn’t good. The bed wasn’t the best but not the worst either.

The room credit wasn’t given in alcoholic beverages. The toilet is basically in the room behind a screen. The room upgrade we were promised wasn’t given!

Stay away at all costs
1. The heater unit/AC was so noisy that you could not sleep. In addition, the unit was not working and the room was freezing cold (given outside temp in Ljubljana was near freezing point). 2. Housekeeping do not clean room unless told to, and even when you ask reception for room service they blame you for putting the don't disturb sign on when I had not. 3. Booked for 4 days, on check in asked receptionist to move me to another room, she said she cannot. She said she will call maintenance for the heater to be fixed. On the 2nd day, it was not yet fixed. 4. The shower drain was semi clogged. 5. On my 2nd day out of the 4 days I decided to check out early which I did due to unbearable cold condition of the room.The reception refused to refund the remaining 2 days. Not only this, hotel administration did not even answer phone calls from hotels.com 6. These people at thid hotel are passive and rude, unprofessional and they just steal your money by not provifing adequate services in return.
